Ever wonder how to build a home from love? Love is what makes a home, not the home itself. Sure, everyone loves great looking homes and fancy items in their homes. However, you cannot take it with you when you die. Therefore, in my opinion, start building your home through love.
How to build a home from love
– Find someone you care deeply enough about, marry and start a life together.
– Share every moment together like tomorrow is the last day of your lives.
– Compromise is a plus when in a relationship. Meeting each other in the middle is the best possible way to resolve issues you do not agree with.
– Never, call each other names or put one another down. If you see something, you do not like in each other. Talk it over, as adults not school kids.
– The best foundation for a home is trust. Trusting each other will take some time. However, once it is established the foundation should never crack.
– Honesty is a major player in any home. Never lie to each other. Lies have a way of coming back and biting you in the, well you know. Not to mention it breaks the trust issue I previously mentioned.
– Never, put up walls in areas where you need to discuss issues of concern. If something bothers you, talk to your partner. They are the ones who are there when you need them the most.
– Understanding plays a big role in building a home from love. Without understanding where will we be. Everyone makes mistakes. Do not judge your partner for mistakes they may have made. After all, you could turn around and do the same exact thing without realizing it until you have done so.
– Most of all forgiveness is a big issue. Forgiveness helps to heal any misunderstandings or hardships you may have encountered along the way.
– Never, go to bed angry at one another. Every situation should be worked through if you have built a strong enough home from the foundation up.
– Money issues can arise in any household. Do the best you can with what you earn. Pay the bills and stretch what is left. If you do not have the money to purchase what you wanted, chances are you did not need it anyway. If you do need it, save until you have enough to buy the things you need. Never argue over money, this is a big result in a home crumbling to the ground. Talk through money issues instead of arguing over it. If one is spending too much, talk to them in a decent tone of voice, never yell or scream.
– Lastly, love as hard and much as possible, this will keep your home well built and standing for years.
