Winning the lottery is definitely a life changing experience. It can make all your craziest dreams come true but also push your favorite things away. So what changes would occur if you won the lottery? Would these changes be good or bad? Would winning the lottery be more than you could ever dream of, or an unexpected curse? Her are the five ways I think my life would change if I won the lottery.
Vacation(s) of a Lifetime
One thing I would love to do is travel the world and see all of these places you only see in books. I think seeing these places would give me a better view of the world. By traveling around the world and experiencing different cultures I believe I would have a greater respect for people of different races and nationalities. I also think I would have a greater respect for nature after seeing its magnificent beauty.
Permanent Leave From Work
Having that much money of course doesn’t mean I’m going to blow it all. I would defiantly buy property, open savings accounts, and set up money for the rest of my life. I would be living every persons dream of not having to work another day in their life. I would have a more carefree life and wouldn’t have to do what almost all of us do and that’s living pay check to pay check. I would ultimately make sure I was in financial bliss for the rest of my life.
School Time Again
Though I wouldn’t want to work it doesn’t mean I wouldn’t want to go to college still. I think education is the most important part of anyone’s life. I think education opens up doors people never knew existed. All the money in the world wouldn’t give you half of what an education can give you. I think being able to pay for all my college, thanks to the lottery, would take some of the big worries away that most people face during college.
Goodbye to Friends
Though all these good things would hopefully come from winning the lottery, I think they would have their equal share of bad parts. Everyone would become your, “friend” when they found out your wallet is stuffed now. It would be hard to know if your good, past friends were still your friends or in it for the money. Though money can buy a lot of things it can’t buy a true friendship. I value the friendships I share with many people and would hate to see them ruined over money. Though I could try and stop this from happening I know it would. This makes me think I would rather be poor, with a lot of friends, than rich and lonely.
Where Did All the Love Go?
There are people in my life that I truly love and I know they love me for what I am. With all this wealth it would be hard to know this for certain. How would you be able to tell the people who love you from the people who love your money. Money can make people lie and decent people, and some people can do it with no remorse. You could fall head over heels for someone just to find out they fell head over heels already for the money. I think it would be impossible to meet people and be truthful with them without them getting blinded by all the money.
Most of this was from me myself and what I think but I did use these websites as well.
