I don’t know about you, but I try to take care of myself and I try to be sensible about it. I think that even if I did have a lot of money to throw around I would still look for a good deal and try not to be wasteful.
When it comes to skin care I do spend a little bit more than drug store prices. I have an advantage because a good friend of mine sells a skin care line that I absolutely love, not only does she order and deliver it to me, she gives me her dealers discount, now that’s luck. I try not to take advantage, but she encourages me, maybe she is trying to tell me something.
I am at the age where I need to concentrate on ageing products. Beauty Control products can be a little expensive, but I think as you age you should be a little more apt to spend the money on a good product. The Regeneration Tight, firm and fill crème that I use day and night starts to work immediately. I notice a difference immediately in the smoothness and firmness. This product is $48.00 for a one ounce jar, but you only need a dime size dab in your palm. With continued use the results are worth it.
I have never been one to go to a spa for treatments I guess I was lucky in that I never had problem skin. Some women need peels, and facials regularly to keep a healthy tone.
When researching for this article I found the same regimen that I presently do at home would cost about $3,000.00 at the Four Season Spa World. Granted it is all done for you and it takes 60 minutes, but really that is over the top spending. A similar spa treatment that is recommended repeated for 6 treatments is an Anti-ageing facial that runs $6,100.00 for 75 minutes. The spa treatment is a pampering beyond imagination and I wish that maybe I could do it just one time, of course I would use some ones discount or maybe I could find an on-line coupon. Once for a year- end gift from my class I received a $150.00 gift certificate to a nice spa and I got to choose a package. I chose the facial and I wasn’t that impressed, I felt pampered, but I wanted to fall asleep and I knew I could not keep it up and go back for regular treatments. It really was a nice gift.
Also on-line I found Re’vive an anti ageing cream that is an intense Volumizing Serum for $600.00 for an ounce, or perhaps for only $175.00 you can order Tracie Martyn’s resculpting facial device that sends electrical currents to the muscles of the face…humm, no thanks, I’ll take a massage though.
