One of my own favorite homemade facial mask to use to astringe and cleanse my face is my strawberry kiwi facial mask. It contains tons of antioxidants that help rebuild the collagen underneath the skin while nourishing, brightening and exfoliating it to help it look younger.
The ingredients you will need to make my homemade strawberry kiwi facial mask is 1 smashed up kiwi, 1 smashed up strawberry, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of witch hazel and 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt. You can pretty much find all these ingredients in your kitchen and even your local grocery store if you do not have them on hand.
The way you make my homemade strawberry kiwi facial mask is by placing the 1 smashed up kiwi, 1 smashed up strawberry, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of witch hazel and 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt into a small bowl and combined them together with spoon until you get a thick chunky mask that is easy to spread over your face. If you feel the mask is to runny you can add a tablespoon of cornstarch into it and that should help thicken it right up for you.
Now the way I like to apply my homemade strawberry kiwi facial mask to my face is by scooping some of it up with my fingers and gently applying a nice thick layer of it to my face. Than I allow the strawberry kiwi mask to stay on for about 30 minutes or longer. When the mask is on your face you will notice it is very soothing and can sometimes sting at first when you first apply it but that is just because it is exfoliating the dead layer of skin cells from your face. You may also want to place an old shirt on when you do this mask because sometimes it can be a bit drippy and you don’t want it dripping onto a nice shirt. After the mask has been on for 30 minutes I rinse it off with warm water and apply a nice organic facial cream to keep it moisturized and protected. You should notice your skin is a lot brighter and clearer than it was before you used the mask. I know I did and I noticed my skin was much cleaner and softer and my fine lines had faded away a little bit. I usually like to use this homemade strawberry kiwi facial mask about 4 times a month to help keep my skin bright and healthy appearing. You can use it more or less if you want too.
Anyways, I hope this helps some of you astringe and cleanse your face right up with a homemade strawberry kiwi facial mask. I do hope those of you who make this facial mask have and easy time making it and an enjoyable time using it.
