The easiest way to make the homemade vanilla shea butter body scrub is by scraping the tiny seeds out of 5 to 6 vanilla beans until you have 3 teaspoons of vanilla seeds. After place the vanilla seeds into a mixing bowl. After melt the shea butter in the microwave on low heat until it is softened or melted and then add that into the mixing bowl as well. Then place the 1 tablespoon each of jojoba oil, coconut oil, and grapeseed oil, 2 cups of white sugar, ½ cup of honey, and 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract into the mixing bowl as well with the other ingredients. Now all you do is take a beater mixing spoon and combined the ingredients together until you get a very thick gritty oily shea butter body scrub. If your scrub is to runny add another cup of sugar or adjust it to the amount you feel is right. If you find the body scrub is to thick add more honey or oils too it. Once the vanilla shea butter is made you can place it into a jar and store it away near your bathtub for up to 2 weeks until you are ready to use it.
Now when you go to use the homemade vanilla shea butter body scrub you will want to get into the shower and get your skin warm and wet before using it. After you can take handfuls of the scrub and begin massaging it into your skin in circular motions to help exfoliate the skin. The scrub should be gentle on your skin, but tough enough to remove the dead layer of skin. It will have a slightly greasy gritty feeling to it and a nice warm light vanilla scent to it. It is going to take several minutes to exfoliate your whole entire body with this scrub, but once you do you will have soft nourished beautiful glowing skin. Then after you are done exfoliating your skin you should rinse off with warm water, pat your skin dry, and apply a nice body cream or body butter too your skin to help keep it moisturized.
