Holiday Inn Express at the Little Rock, Arkansas Airport: A Review

by itchy fish

Are you in need of a clean, comfortable place to stay while you’re in Little Rock, Arkansas? If so, why not try the Holiday Inn Express at the Little Rock, Arkansas Airport? The Holiday Inn Express is located just across the bridge from the Little Rock, Arkansas Airport, and it’s right near the full-service Holiday Inn. Stair steps even allow you to walk up and eat/drink at the Boston’s Restaurant that is built onto the full-service Holiday Inn. Here is what you can expect when you stay at the Little Rock, Arkansas Airport Holiday Inn Express:

Standard rooms. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but they’re nothing special. You will get a good night’s sleep here, but this is not the place to stay for a luxury vacation. Even the lobby is a bit gloomy as you walk in, and the hotel staff seems less than inviting. In short, this location seems to want to rent rooms and to move customers in and out quickly.

Fair rates. The rates at this location are fair. You’ll usually pay somewhere within the $80 range for a room. The Holiday Inn Express doesn’t charge extra until you have three or more adults, and the price could then increase. What’s really odd about this Holiday Inn Express location is that the rates seem to be less expensive on the weekends.

Decent breakfast. The Holiday Inn Express at the Little Rock, Arkansas Airport holds a large, really open, breakfast area. They serve the standard breakfast items that you would find on most continental breakfasts, and they do serve some other items that change from day to day. The continental breakfast is included with the price of the room.

Shuttle service. One of the nice things about this Holiday Inn Express location is that they offer shuttle service to/from the Little Rock airport. They do stay on call throughout the day, and they are really quick with their service. In short, you won’t end up standing out in the heat or the cold waiting on the driver. You can depend on the shuttle service offered by the Holiday Inn Express.

Boston’s Restaurant. The Holiday Inn Express at the Little Rock, Arkansas Airport is built on the downward slope from the full-service Holiday Inn, but they have some really nice steps built into the hill that leads up to Boston’s Restaurant. Boston’s really isn’t the best place to eat, but works in a pinch. Be ready to pay some steep prices, though. The good news is that you can drink in their sports bar and then walk back to your room.
