According to their website, Hangman’s House of Horrors in Fort Worth is celebrating its “22nd year as the top charity-benefiting haunted house in the nation!” Hangman’s opens on Sept 17th this year, with tickets starting at $16.00. Hangman’s also features a tasting room, a maze, and Wonderland.
The Cutting Edge Haunted House in downtown Fort Worth opens on Friday, August 13th and is a Guinness World Record Holder for the longest walk-through horror house! The Cutting Edge Haunted House ticket prices start at $25.00 for adults and $20.00 for children.
Haunted Houses in Dallas
The Slaughterhouse in Dallas is a very graphic haunted house that is not recommended for children under 10. The Slaughterhouse’s sneak preview begins on September 25th, and they have a VIP Party Room available year round. Tickets start at $16.00
Scaregrounds in Dallas is celebrating their 15th year! Scaregrounds features the Hallucinatorim, Terrortorium, and Necrotorium. This is a haunted house you don’t want to miss, opening on September 24th, and ticket prices are to be announced.
Haunted Houses in Arlington
According to The Boneyard online, they were voted “the best Haunted House in Dallas” though they are really located in Arlington. The Boneyard opens on Friday August 13th and is not recommended for small children. Ticket prices are to be announced.
Fright Fest at Six Flags over Texas in Arlinton begins on October 1st. General admission tickets start at $51.99 for adults and $32.99 for children. This is a child friendly event and group discounts may be available. Fright Fest is more than just a haunted house, and includes rides and other attractions.
Zombie Manor has a sneak preview event on August 13th, with the season starting on September 17th. The sneak preview is priced at $10.00, with general admission tickets starting at $15.00 in September.
Haunted Houses surrounding Dallas/Fort Worth
Dr. Haunt’s Chamber of Fear is located in Gainesville. According to their website, they are “the only haunted house in Texas or Oklahoma to be nationally ranked as one of the scariest haunted houses in America by Fearnet.” Tickets are $20.00 and include The Show, Bloody Fun, and the Chamber of Fears.
Terrorplex in Mansfield is a haunted house featuring the Midnight Manor, Van Helsing’s Haunted House of Wax, Heavy Metal Madness, Wolfman’s Curse, and Limbo, an outdoor maze. Tickets start at $25.00 with online discounts available. Terrorplex opens on September 1st.
Screams in Waxahachie opens on October 1st and hosts five haunted houses. Also included is a snake show, karaoke, and horror movies. General Admission starts at $24.99, with a group discount available.
