The science of astrology has interested me forever. I’m not that into horoscopes. However, in my experience with people and relationships, I can’t help but to believe the time that someone is born has a major influence on their personality. I can usually guess a person’s sign after interacting with them. I’ve also had many moments of learning a person’s sign and it explaining everything I thought about them.
I’ve come across the skeptics that call astrology trash, but I believe those people are just intimidated by the subject because they don’t want people to think they have them “figured out” just because of their birthday. It’s a fair concern. A lot more goes into a person’s identity than their sun sign; and it’s their moon, rising, Venus, Mars, and Mercury sign. Life experience obviously shapes a person, but I don’t think it’s wrong to say their astrological chart is a factor in how they as an individual handle and come out of their life experiences.
I know a man or two or three of every zodiac sign. Some I dated, some are friends, and some are family. This is a brutally honest take on every one of them from a Libra woman’s perspective.
Aries wants to be loved by everyone. They’ll deny that it’s true but they really do their best to try to play up to everyone in the room, to the point of superficiality. Fiery fun personalities these Aries, they can be huge sweethearts but also have the tendency to be big babies. Aries are my opposite sign and as they say we attract, but our love nest can easily become a war zone. Aries and Libra’s are cardinal signs so power struggles are to be expected.
The presence of a Taurus has a calming effect on me. Perhaps it’s the grounding Earth element. They have a macho man vibe that makes you feel safe around them. It’s that same vibe that attracts all women to him. He can be a player but he does have it in him to be faithful if and when the right woman comes along. He’ll always be a flirt though.
My air cousins (sigh). Whenever I meet a Gemini man we usually have a verbal spat. These men believe they are the smartest people on earth. The truth is they will be smarter than a lot of other people you know and have insights that’ll make you say “hmmm”. As a Libra, I understand their duality, but what they seem to not understand is that they are not two people and sooner or later they have to think and act as one person. This is difficult for them but they try.
Moody, sensitive, and very caring people but let’s talk about the moody part. They can be fun, easygoing, and full of laughter one day and the next you’ll be wondering where that person went. The crabby mood isn’t too fun but there is a reason for it. Their sensitivity to outer elements is very strong so you can’t always take their moods personally. Just wait around and the teddy bear will reappear soon enough.
I have yet to meet a Leo man who didn’t love to have his photo taken. These men are very romantic and really know how to sweep a woman off her feet. They need constant attention to validate the oversized ego they have, so in some way shape or form he’ll want to be the attention of it. He’ll achieve this in a loud boisterous way or a quiet brooding way if everyone else is making noise; whatever works.
Virgo’s remind me a bit of Taurus with the calming presence and macho man vibe but Virgo and I connect on an intellectual level much more. Virgos are great conversationalists but can also be hypocritical. They’re also go getters when it comes to making money. I’d bet the term workaholic was coined for the Virgo.
I usually don’t like Libra men and that could very well be because we are too much alike. We’re flirts, we’ll debate till the wee hours of the morning, we facilitate on just about everything, and when we do make a decision there is no turning back. Ugh! We understand each other like no one else can and we can get under each other’s skin like no one else can. If I’m in a room with a Libra man long enough, we’d at some point communicate telepathically. I’m serious.
Intensity is too light of a description for these men. Like Cancer they are sensitive but to the 20th degree. This is difficult for an airy chick like me so I try to steer clear of becoming emotionally involved with one; if I can help it. They can be very seductive. You don’t date them, they possess you. I’d describe a relationship with them as diving into a very inviting pool of water and when you try to get out the water turns into quicksand.
Of all the fire signs I’d say Sagittarius was more emotional and in tune with his feminine side than the others. They usually have very deep thought processes and are extremely witty and creative. Every last one I’ve known or known of has been a charming lying womanizer.
My experiences with Capricorn men have been few and far in between. Everyone I met was heavily involved in music in some form or fashion and were dedicated to their business but not so dedicated to their women outside of her presence. Something about us doesn’t mesh well. I can’t put my finger on it but there is always a guard up when I come in contact with them and it’s usually me holding it.
Men don’t like to communicate? Ha! My mouth can run and I’m great at throwing a man’s mind through a few loops but I meet my match with Aquarius every time. My moon sign is also Aquarius so maybe that contributes to why when I meet them it’s an instant friendship. After our first date or conversation it’s like I don’t remember what it’s like to not know them; and I don’t want to. Until they screw up. It’s difficult for me and Aquarius to be just friends after a relationship.
Pisces are usually popular without even trying to be. They have a presence and personality that makes friends with all types of people very easily. They are fun to be around. Easygoing and outgoing, if you want to date them more than likely there will be some competition; even if it’s just his buddies.
