There was a time when every student searching for a high quality MBA program headed to one of a handful of schools located in the United States. Harvard and Wharton topped the list of the best MBA programs for decades. While these two iconic programs still rank high, they are facing much competition from other programs, including many in countries such as Great Britain, Spain and Switzerland. Here is a listing of five of the highest ranked International MBA programs.
IESE Business School – University of Navarra Spain
This Spanish business school tops The Economist’s list of top International MBA programs and ranks number 6 on the Financial Times 2010 list of top International MBA programs. While the weighted salary of graduates is slightly lower than several other top ranked MBA programs, this Spanish business school receives high marks for career progress.
London School of Business – United Kingdom
The London School of Business tops the Financial Times list of International MBA programs and is ranked in the top ten by The Economist. With an average weighted salary of $142,000 for graduates and a number two ranking for international mobility, this British school offers one of the most competitive MBA programs in the world.
Harvard Business School – United States
The Harvard School of Business’s MBA program consistently receives high marks. While it is no longer considered the number one MBA program in the world, it is still among the five best.
