Sprinkles in Houston, Texas. On Monday, June 21st, Sprinkles Cupcakes is opening up shop on Westheimer in Houston, Texas. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Sprinkles Cupcakes, these confections are favorites with Tom Cruise, Oprah Winfrey, Tyra Banks and other celebrities. Founded by pastry chef Candace Nelson, who opened her first cupcake shop in Hollywood five years ago, these cupcakes have been raved about in both Food & Wine magazine, as well as Bon Appetit.
More Cupcakes? I know, I know, you’re asking yourself if Houston, Texas really needs another cupcake shop. We already have Crave Cupcakes, Celebrity Cupcakes, Sugarbaby’s Cupcake Boutique and Suzybeez Cakez N Sweetz (for those of you not from Houston, Texas, those aren’t typos). But can you really have enough cupcakes?
Flavors. If you are a cupcake fan, or just a sweet baked goods lover in general, you will go crazy for Sprinkles Cupcakes when it opens in Houston, Texas. Aside from the expected flavors of vanilla, chocolate (milk or dark) and carrot, you can also enjoy chai latte, ginger lemon, red velvet (also vegan red velvet) and so many more. Can Crave’s Almond Cranberry or Suzybeez’ Cotton Candy compare? Only the cupcake lovers of Houston, Texas can decide.
Creations. Sprinkles will create cupcake towers for Houston, Texas weddings, showers and birthdays. You can also order favor boxes for your next event, or even rent the “Sprinklemobile” for your Houston, Texas private party. If you or your friends are Sprinkles fanatics, you can order tees that declare your devotion. You can purchase a Sprinkles baseball hat, or even a t-shirt for your dog! (They also make doggie cupcakes.) And don’t forget to order some of their cupcake mix for whipping up your own batch in your Houston, Texas kitchen.
