The Whispered World is an interesting game for the PC platform. Before we go into this review of the great game The Whispered World, these are the Requirements to play: Intel CPU: Pentium 4 3.0GHz AMD CPU: Sempron 3600+ Nvidia Graphics Card: Geforce 7800 GTX ATI Graphics Card: Radeon HD 5570 RAM Memory: 1GB. The purpose of the game is to lead the character Sadwick to his destiny to finding himself and his role in saving the world. Based on his destiny it is meant for him to end the world regardless of his intentions. Sadwick comes from a family who owns a traveling circus which he is forced to be apart of. He is fired from cannons and sent on the hunt for potential customers for the circus. Throughout the game there are many quests. In order to complete them the player must find items, combine them correctly and you will be able to proceed on with the next quest.
You must pay close attention to what’s going on while you are completing these quests or you may have to start all over (with that specific quest) to get everything in tact. Sadwick has a pet caterpillar named Spot who is a key part of the game. At different times in the game Spot is able to take on different forms which is a big help in solving puzzles important in completing a quest. Sadwick must fight different characters he meets in order to fight the fate of the world. There are also other characters in The Whispered World that are beneficial to the gamers experience and they are a help to Sadwick in the game. The graphics in The Whispered World are different than most modern PC games you see. The scenery is made from paintings in an animated style which gives a different more unique twist to the game.
The Whispered World has best of animated graphics I have seen in any game yet. The game is 2D instead of the traditional 3D we are used to but it is still interesting and fun to play. The music in The Whispered World has a way of setting the pace and the mood in the game. The music will take over your mind and help you focus on the game and the music sounds great. The Whispered World is a great game but there are some flaws. The game can run pretty slow at times and it can become a bit annoying according to your level of patience. That is the only mild defect I noticed and it is easily looked over due to the greatness if the game. The Whispered World is certainly an interesting game to play and at a price of $29.99 The Whispered World is definitely worth the buy. Enjoy!
