The Game Dead to Rights Retribution takes place in Grant City. This is a place where crime and corruption has taken over the town and it has gotten out of hand. Jack Slate who is a vice cop is the man with the ammunition to fight these villains who will continue with their plans to complete the demise of Grant City and the inhabitants thereof. The influence these figure heads have over Grant City is deadly and needs to be stopped. In Dead to Rights Retribution, Jack Slate meets with his partner Shadow (who is his crime fighting dog) who is a help to him in his mission to reverse crime and corruption in Grant City. When you first start playing Dead to Rights Retribution you begin to play as Shadow. You have to kill off the enemies because Jack is currently unable to fight due to injuries. Afterward, Jack does heal and the fighting does begin with you controlling Jack and Shadow comes in as your sidekick.
Throughout the game while Jack is fighting off the enemies Shadow is needed to kill off some enemies because the load of people attacking you can become pretty unbearable. The primary objective in Dead to Rights Retribution is to fight off these villains who plan to continue their reign of terror and plan to erase you and Shadow out of the picture. There are times in the game beside the first beginning where you must play as Shadow and the experience is interesting. While playing with Shadow has its benefits, his durability is cut short as he can die pretty quickly if constant vigilance is not practiced. However, having control of Shadow is much more beneficial than using Jack Slate. Why? One of the most important aspects of the game is to kill off those corrupted individuals trying to bring Grant City to sure demise and the senses that Shadow possesses are incredible. He is able to see enemies through walls and plot a sneak attack when necessary and if the attempt to take the enemy down fails an attack followed by a fatality comes to play. Shadow is certainly a beneficial character in Dead to Rights Retribution.
Dead to Rights Retribution is a decent game to play overall. The weapons, the combat practiced without the weapons, Shadows speed and sharp teeth are all useful in Dead to Rights Retribution and contributes to Jack’s agenda. The graphics in Dead to Rights Retribution are good graphics for both PS3 and Xbox 360. Is Dead to Rights Retribution worth the buy?
