Farmers Branch Independence Day Celebration
The Farmers Branch Independence Day Celebration takes place on July 3 each year at Farmers Branch Historical Park, located on 2540 Farmers Branch Lane. This Fourth of July event begins at 7:30 pm, and includes children’s activities and food concessions. Live music begins at 8:00 pm. There are also low-level fireworks at 9:35 pm. Lone Stars and Stripes Fireworks Celebration in Grand Prairie, Texas
The Lone Stars and Stripes Fireworks Celebration takes place each year on July 3 and July 4 at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, Texas. There is a fireworks show following the horse races on both days of the celebration. Activities at the Lone Stars and Stripes Fireworks Celebration include a petting zoo, pony rides, games, clowns and bounce houses. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children between the ages of 4 and 13. Children aged three and under are admitted free.
Fair Park Fourth in Dallas, Texas
The Fair Park Fourth celebration is held each year on July 4 at Fair Park in Dallas. Fair Park Fourth includes live music, free admission to Fair Park museums, food and games. There will also be state of the art fireworks which can be viewed from the newly renovated Cotton Bowl. The fireworks will be synchronized to music broadcast on Dallas’ 24 hour classical radio station, WRR 101.1. Admission to this Fourth of July event is free.
Frisco Freedom Fest in Frisco, Texas
The annual Frisco Freedom Fest takes place annually on either July 3 or July 4 in Pizza Hut Park and Simpson Plaza. The event includes Party in the Plaza at 4:00 pm, which features a Children’s Expo, Hometown Hero Exhibit and Community Stage. Also starting at 4:00 pm is the Taste of Frisco, which features some popular dishes from Frisco restaurants. The event will end with a huge, 20-minute fireworks display.
Concerts in the Garden at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden
The Concerts In The Garden Summer Music Festival takes place each year from late May or early June through July 4. The concert series offers 19 nights of music every weekend during the festival. This Fourth of July event includes both popular and classical music by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. Park visitors are encouraged to pack a picnic to enjoy during the concert. Fireworks will be displayed at the Old-Fashioned Family Fireworks Picnic, which takes place on July 2, 3 and 4. Gates open at 6:30 pm and the concert begins at 8:00 pm. Admission to the concert is $16 in advance and $20 at the gate for lawn seating. Children 10 and under are admitted free for lawn seating when accompanied by an adult. Table seating for adults is $23 to $43 in advance and $26 to $46 at the gate. Table seating for children is $11 to $43 in advance and $11 to $46 at the gate.
