Review of Trader Ming’s Gyoza Dipping Sauce : Taste – Did it work as a dressing for a seaweed salad substitute using lettuce?
I have had similar sauce with tofu dumplings and I’ve had seaweed salad. I picked this dressing because I wanted a seaweed salad dressing to make regular lettuce salad taste like seaweed salad. This dressing said it could be used for anything Asian.
Based on the ingredients, this looked like a good vegetarian dressing for a seaweed salad substitute using lettuce as a seaweed substitute. I made a salad with my available vegetables, mixed lettuce, carrots, green beans, and organic cherry tomatoes (also purchased from Trader Joe’s). The vegetarian sauce added sweet and spicy flavor to the seaweed salad substitute which paired nicely with vegetarian sushi.
The package suggests adding it to egg rolls, pot stickers, or other Asian cuisine. This also product works well as a seaweed salad dressing on regular lettuce salads for seaweed salad flavor. It’s great on a variety of foods including avocado, mushrooms, and ‘chicken’ veggie burgers. Like other bottled salad dressings, Trader Joe’s Gyoza Dipping Sauce is ready to serve. This sweet and spicy sauce adds a lot of flavor and pours out easily. Be careful not to pour too much.
Trader Ming’s Gyoza Dipping Sauce is a delicious salad dressing that tastes good on a variety of foods. Try this for a vegetarian, sweet, spicy dressing for homemade seaweed salad or seaweed salad substitute. Make a seaweed salad substitute with lettuce as substitute for seaweed and use the dressing described in this associated content article. I really like this vegetarian dressing. It’s great as a seaweed salad dressing and is good on many other foods. I would buy it again and would like to try more Trader Joe’s Trader Ming’s products and other dressings.
