Going from rags to riches is a common dream among people of all ages. I have often bought a scratch ticket or a quick pick lotto ticket in hopes of winning the lottery. From the time I was a teenager and really grasped the concept of what having money means, I would daydream about what I would do if I hit the winning lotto numbers. Since becoming an adult and a mother, some of those plans have slightly changed. I still have the same general ideas for what I would do with the money, just in a more sensible fashion.
Buy A House: Currently my family resides in an apartment because that is what our budget allows. I would love to be able to provide a home for my children and boyfriend. A place to call home. My dream house is one that isn’t to fancy, just something cozy. Ideally I would like between four or five bedrooms, a basement, and a decent sized kitchen. A fenced in backyard for the children to play in would be another important factor in purchasing this home. This would be an amazing start to a life I have been dreaming about since I was a little girl.
Buy Vehicles For The Family: I would purchased two band new vehicles for both myself and my boyfriend. Currently we only have one vehicle and a pretty decent sized car payment. For myself, I would probably buy something along the lines of a typical “mommy mobile”. I am leaning towards either a Nissan Maxima or Ford Fusion. I am sure my boyfriend would like to stick with having a truck, so the choice on which one is absolutely his since I know nothing about trucks!
Plastic Surgery: I know this sounds vain, and I am completely okay with that. After having two children and gaining and losing over 80 pounds total in the last six years, I think I am entitled to have my body back! I would probably have a multi-procedure done so I wouldn’t have to keep going back and having double or triple recovery times. I would most definitely need some liposuction, a breast lift, and some porcelain veneers put in my mouth. This is one dream I have had for a while and hope to fulfill with or without the lotto someday!
Donate To Cancer Research: This is something I have thought long and hard about. I lost my mother when I was 8 years old to an aggressive form of bladder cancer. It eventually spread through her entire insides and claimed her life in the process. Many people I have known or know have been affected directly by cancer. I hope that I will live to see a cure for cancer, but if I don’t I sure hope my children will get to see it!
Sent Up College Funds For My Kids: This has always been in the plans for me. I have a daughter and a son and I want the best possible life for both of them. In today’s world, you absolutely have to attend college to be able to survive in this crumbling economy. Of course, I hope by the time my children grow up the economy is in a better state, but it is always best to be prepared. I want my children to be able to attend any college they desire without having to apply for financial aid or grants.
