Bandanas are available in a wide range of colors and patterns. I don’t personally wear them, they just aren’t my style but there are so many other things you can do with them. If you are looking for some fun ways to use bandanas you should check out these five fun and festive sewing projects that use bandanas.

Sew, Mama, Sew: Bandana Pants

These cute pants just scream “summer”. Stefani from the blog Blue Yonder, shares how she makes her boy’s bandana pants each summer using two identical bandanas on Sew, Mama, Sew. Here tutorial is available as PDF printout, and is easy to use. The tutorial features both written instructions, as well as diagrams for each step.

Aesthetic Nest: Bandana Quilt Tablecloth

Annelise at the Aesthetic Nest has just recently made her blog public, and boy has she been hiding some extremely cute projects! One of my favorite projects on her blog is her Bandana Quilt Tablecloth, which is made using fifteen twenty-two inch bandanas. Annelise’s tutorial is very easy to follow, with step-by-step directions and pictures of each step of the process.

Burda Style: Brown and White Bandana Halter Top

The Burda Style website showcases a super cute halter-top using two bandanas. The tutorial even suggests using it a bathing suit cover as well. The website does not really tell how to make the halter top but it does show several pictures of the completed projects, as well as a few notes on the project. The top is simple enough to make, and there is enough information given that someone with adequate sewing experience could easily decipher how to make it.
