This *Eve Online* weapon comparison guide will cover the Small Hybrid Railgun Turrets, which are collectively a sub group of Small Hybrid Turrets along with Small Blasters. Small Hybrid Railguns are more effective at long range but unfortunately can suffer at ranges that are too close against faster ships. Small Railguns come in 3 different types, the first being 75mm with the shortest range, best tracking and fastest fire rate. 125mm are the mid range option, but also being harder to fit than 75mm. 150mm Hybrid Railguns are the most powerful, with the longest range but slowest fire rate. *Eve Online* players fitting Small Hybrid Railguns on Frigates or Destroyers will want to find ways to make sure they can keep range from enemies, either through webifiers, afterburners or both. It is especially important to use webifiers against drones, since their fast speed and attempts to orbit at close range means they are incredibly hard to hit with railguns.

Here is a reference for the abbreviations used below: OR = Optimal Range, DM = Damage Modifier, CP = CPU usage, AC = Activation Cost, PG = Powergrid usage
