Today, ESPN announced their 2010 Thursday night NCAA football schedule which includes the much anticipated UCLA vs. Washington game on November 18th. According to Dave Brown, ESPN’s vice president of programming and acquisitions, “Having the UCLA vs. Washington game join our Thursday night lineup in 2010 is a tremendous addition to our schedule. We look forward to showcasing both programs, the great city of Seattle and the great atmosphere of Husky Stadium for the first time on a Thursday night.” The game had actually been originally scheduled for Saturday, November 13. This will be the final regular season game for Washington quarterback, Jake Locker, giving Locker one last opportunity to flaunt his talents before Heisman Trophy ballots are due. This could also be a pivotal game in the race to win the Pac-10. Other Pac-10 games featured on ESPN’s Thursday Night College Football lineup are UCLA vs. Oregon on October 21; and Arizona State vs. Arizona on December 2.
