If your thought process says that the corporate world is a good place to be in there but now you plan to get beyond this circle of day-to-day routine job and explore the next step of being an employee of yourself, I think it is time for you to open your eyes to rest of the world. It is ‘easier said than done’ but there would be a lot of things which you might want to consider depending on your age, social, personal, financial or professional requirements and then choose the best path to follow from there on.
It is the evaluation phase now. The course of action which might come to your rescue is that you start looking for your own interests within or outside the scope of what you are currently doing and if you can survive with or without it. A job with a MNC never sounds bad as far as it is treating you well, which does happen in most of the cases, but as commonly said that the grass is always greener on the other side, so the displeasure sets in sooner or later in different magnitudes. In order to tap or understand those magnitudes we have to do some comprehensive self analysis, which would enlighten us with some bits of information, they may look too small from a distance but would be the influencing factors of ones professional career.
Things aren’t going to be same always, as commonly said ‘everyday is not a Sunday’. The important thing here is that we should be at the right place at the right time, to achieve what we think is right for us. The question here is, that how would we know that what is the right place and the right time to be there. This is where self analysis comes into the picture and guides us to follow a course of action, which may be driven by our energies or willingness to define a destination for ourselves with an execution plan imprinted out.
Just the notion of being there doesn’t get you the right path or direction. There have been a lot of researches where in the outcome has been more or less the same that we stop by giving it all up by not realizing that the efforts which were invested, are far less than what they should have been. We all generally are aware of our goals but we have never put our foot down to set them in a fashion where achieving them looks like a realism. We simply wait for some hand holding and wait too long for the same. Point is entrepreneurs are not made in a day and but once they take the shape there is no looking back from there.
There can be several excuses as in finance, time, man power, resources etc and all these do stop and divert us a bit from our goals but once you think you can just run into them clear them up one after the another for good and go on from there to the next step, it should lead you to the right path.
Owning / executing a business is never going to be easy but at the same time it is pretty much do able if you are able to think out of the box and bring the world a new idea which either is not been thought or has not been implemented. There you go! if you have something like that in your mind & heart and also if you are full of the drive to make that happen, bring the right perspective backed by time, money and unlimited efforts.
Results would come to you as they mature.
