Specifically, studies about cell phone radiation and how they can cause brain damage are frequently discussed. Electric and magnetic fields are everywhere. 1) Turn off electronic devices at night when the family is asleep. Since these devices are not being used because the individual is asleep, there is really no reason to keep them powered on. Plus, turning off electric devices helps to save battery power. There are some items (like the alarm clock) that will stay on continuously, but make it a point to turn as many devices off as possible.
2) Keep items at a distance from where the family spends the majority of time. The greater the distance from
the source, the less exposure to EMF. Do not sit close to the television when watching or the radio when
listening. Find an area for the family at least four to six feet away to enjoy those devices. It also would be safer to keep the cell phone in a protective case with an electromagnetic shield for an extra layer of protection in the purse or pocket.
3) Do not keep Bluetooth headsets connected to the body when not using. Even though the headsets are a very convenient way to talk on the phone, keeping them in the ear allows harmful EMF waves to enter the body. As soon as the conversation is complete, immediately remove the headset from the ear.
4) Use home protection electromagnetic field detectors and filters. Detectors, also called Gauss meters, will display the level of electric and magnetic radiation in a certain location. Depending on the strength of the radiation, the meter could possibly detect fields that are outside of the home. Filters are great to reduce the amount of radiation in the room, and they can be purchased for a reasonable cost online. Depending on the size of the home, the number of electrical devices, and power quality, more filters might needed to protect the family.
