This gift idea is ideal for any age and works as a perfect gift for dads of all sorts even if they aren’t the world’s greatest cook.

Pre-wash the apron.
Use the masking tape to mark of different sections on the apron. This is to ensure that each child gets their own section to design and decorate for dad.
The kids can practice their ideas beforehand on paper or go directly to the fabric. Finger-painting techniques would work really well.
Remove the tape and let the paint set.
A throne for Dad
Children can easily customize a lawn chair or any outdoor chair to fit dad’s needs.
Tape or string
Use the tape and string to attach things like an umbrella that will protect dad from the shade. You can also include a drink holder so that dad can have somewhere to place his drink. Anything that you think dad would need on his special day should be attached to the chair.

Scrap of craft foam
Cut a piece of vinyl that is around ¼” bigger than the photo that you have.
Cut a piece of craft foam that is the same size.
Line the vinyl and foam up and tape together three sides using vinyl tape.
Leave the top open, but you can put a piece of tape at the edge for decoration.
Use the suede cord as a border for the photo and glue it all around.
Cut a 12″ piece of suede cord and tie a small loop at one end
Apply glue down the middle of it and attach the DAD letters
Attach some pony beads at the bottom of it and trim the end.
Glue this piece to the photo, vinyl, and foam so that it hangs from it.
The frame is now ready to give to dad.
