In this Dead to Rights: Retribution game review I will help you decide for yourself id the Dead to Rights Retribution game is right for you. I do not think Dead to Rights: Retribution is right for everyone.
Dead to Rights: Retribution is a third person action game. Dead to Rights: Retribution is for the PS3 and Xbox 360. There is a reason that Dead to Rights: Retribution is not on the Wii, it is a violent adult game. Because of the violence this game can’t be recommended for young players and Wii is a family console more then the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Dead to Rights: Retribution is an attempt to bring back the franchise. Here is the problem with that thinking not many people know or care about the Dead to Rights franchise. There is a reason for that, it was not that good. It was a game that saw a popular trend and tried to cash in on it. It was pretty much like when fighting games were huge and everyone was making them and not everyone should have been. Well Dead to Rights: Retribution does a pretty good job of following is predecessor in being what IGN literally called a run of the mill third-person shooter.
Now if you like third-person shooter you may like Dead to Rights: Retribution. The only problem I see with this thinking is that no one is going to care to play this when there are so many better third-person shooters out there. The only person who would really like this is a fan of the Dead of Rights series. The Dead to Rights: Retribution game is the first time that the Dead to Rights series has been on the current generation console. So this game does feature amazing graphics, sound, and gameplay compared to the earlier games in the series. Sadly that is not to say that the graphics or sound are amazing compared to other modern games but then again its hard for any game to stand out unless it is bad.
The one thing that bugs me is this odd thing about the protagonists dog. Why do you have this dog in the game? Why is he floating in the air half the time? Does the dog have psychic powers to levitate? What other game like this has a dog? It’s a good example of why just because it never has been done that does not mean it should be done. the dog is like putting a giga pet like dog in a Grand Theft Auto game. The other concern I have is that being with this action hero type guy who shoots everything might not be PETA approved.
All in all the Dead to Rights: Retribution game has some minor flaws like bad mechanics, floating out of place dogs, and generic gameplay. At best this is an ok game but with the minor problems Dead to Rights: Retribution has I say it is on the low end of ok. If you are a fan of the series then go ahead and get it. If you want to rent the game for the weekend then you might find you like it but I wouldn’t go out to buy Dead to Rights: Retributionn without at least renting it first to see if its worth it.
