Dancing With the Stars results for week seven took place on May 4th. The Dancing With the Stars Results Show elimination for May 4th sent home the sixth celebrity contestant of the 10th season of the show. The lowest score of the May 3 performance show was that of Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel, who scored only 49 out of 60 this week.
It could have put the couple at risk of being in the bottom two for the second time this week, and needing the fans to step in again and save the day. The second worst scores of the night were actually a tie between the couples of Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood. Each of these couples had a combined score of 51 out of 60 for the night on Monday. One couple had been hurt by doing multiple dances, while the other couples was helped.
This week, there was a tie for the best couple of the night as well(according to the judges) with Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough, and Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya tied after the combined scores. The dance of the night belonged to Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya though, as they received 30 out of 30 on their Argentine Tango for the night. The judges really liked it, but after the Cha Cha segment of the night, Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough were able to catch up.
In addition to the dances that each couple had to perform on Monday night, they also had to compete in a Cha Cha dancing against all the other couples. This was conducted at the end of the episode, with the couples being split into two teams of three couples each.
Having the first dance out of 30 points and the Cha Cha segment out of 30 points as well led to the night being graded on a 60 point scale. This left the scores at the end of the night a lot closer than they could have been. Most of the contestants had their best week on the show, and the separation between first place and last place was only five points at the end of the night.
What this could do is bring a surprise to which couple is voted out this week, leaving everyone at risk of potentially dancing their swan song at the end of the Dancing With the Stars May 4th episode. Read on to find out if it indeed was a surprise that came through on the May 4 results show, or if it went according to what the judges had thought.
