Dancing With the Stars results for week six took place on April 27th. The Dancing With the Stars Results Show eliminationfor April 27th sent home the fifth celebrity contestant of the 10th season of the show. The lowest score of the April 26 performance show was that of Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower, who scored only 25 out of 40 this week. It could put the couple at risk of being in the bottom two again this week. The second worst score of the night was from couple Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel (again) with a score of just 26 out of 40. That put them one point ahead of the couple of Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya that had 27 out of 40.
For the second straight week, the best couple of the night (according to the judges) was Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough, who score 36 out of 40 in the combined score, putting them two points ahead of the next couple. They had performed a Samba (video here) that the judges really liked, and then they performed very well in the swing dance portion of the episode. In addition to the dances that each couple had to perform on Monday night, they also had to compete in a swing dancing face-off against all the couples. This was conducted at the end of the episode, with all of the couples taking the dance floor at the same time. Winning that dance netted Scherzinger and Hough 10 extra points, with second place getting nine, third place getting eight, and so on.
Having the first dance out of 30 points and the swing dance out of 10 points led to the night being graded on a 40 point scale. If left the distance between first place and last place (according to the judges) as an 11 point difference. It means that the two highest scoring couples were most likely going to be protected from elimination this week on the Dancing With the Stars April 27 results show. What would prove to be interesting though, was whether the fan support of Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood would increase to the point of keeping them out of the bottom two this week. They were in the bottom two last week when Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani went home, so it would seem that if they were in the bottom two again this week that this would be the final performance for actress Pamela Anderson.

They started almost immediately into telling us some of the results on the April 27 DWTS elimination show. Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were revealed to be safe first, and then the hosts revealed that Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke were also safe for the week. Neither was a very surprising revelation from this week, as they were two of the top three scoring couples this week on the show. The next couple to find themselves safe was also no surprise, as Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough were told they would be coming back another week. That left just the bottom four according to the judges that needed to learn their fates.
The next couple to find out that they were safe was Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood, meaning that all of the top four couples according to the judges were safe. That left Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel and Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower in the bottom two.
