The Dancing With the Stars elimination of April 27 came after a tough week. Since the Dancing With the Stars elimination for April 27 came a week after Kate Gosselin went home, she wasn’t the big question mark on Tuesday. But in her place came many other question marks, even in unexpected places. Evan Lysacek suddenly found himself in trouble after a big setback on Monday, and several other contenders struggled with their samba performance. Without Gosselin to overshadow them, they had a lot more to worry about – but the Dancing With the Stars elimination on April 27 ultimately sent Jake Pavelka home.
The Bachelor tied with several other dancers for the worst judges’ scores of the week. Pavelka had struggled throughout the competition but stayed alive due to others doing worse. However, he didn’t have that in his favor last night, although others were in jeopardy as well.
The Dancing With the Stars elimination for April 27 had Pavelka, Niecy Nash and Evan Lysacek in the bottom three. Lysacek was there for the first time, after weeks of finishing first or second in the judges’ tallies. But another injury and his problems with the samba left him in danger – although the fans let him off the hook for his one bad week.
This left Pavelka and Nash in the bottom two for the second time each. In the end, the show’s second biggest reality star was sent packing, as Pavelka went off another ABC reality show. But in spite of his teary goodbye, Pavelka and Vienna Girardi will likely be back on camera soon enough.
After the Dancing With the Stars elimination on April 27, it appears things are actually getting serious now. Gosselin, Pavelka and the other poor performers are gone, as the cream of the crop will soon be all that’s left. As Lysacek proved, one mishap can put a dancer in trouble, no matter what they’ve done throughout the competition.
With Pavelka gone, Lysacek, Nash, Chad Ochocinco, Pamela Anderson, Erin Andrews and Nicole Scherzinger are the final six left. The Dancing With the Stars elimination of April 27 voted off the fifth of 11 celebrities, as the show now reaches the halfway point.
Nash survived the bottom two for the second time, so she might be favored to lose out next week. Ochocinco has been up and down throughout, while Anderson has surprisingly been on the brink a few times, and Lysacek’s physical condition is iffy. Following the Dancing With the Stars elimination on April 27, and following this troubling week for many contestants, Nicole Scherzinger’s lead looks bigger than ever.
The next Dancing With the Stars elimination comes on May 4, which will cut the field down to the final five.
