The Dancing With the Stars 2010 vote for Week 6 will be a hard one. Since the Dancing With the Stars vote in Week 6 doesn’t have Kate Gosselin, America must find someone else to pick on. The other struggling dancers no longer have Gosselin to hide behind, nor do they have the likes of Buzz Aldrin or Aiden Turner. The worst dancers of the bunch are slowly going away, so it’s about to get much harder to move on. Even the frontrunners can get in trouble with one bad week, as Evan Lysacek learned before the Dancing With the Stars 2010 vote for Week 6.
Lysacek had been one of the two leaders throughout the competition along with Nicole Scherzinger. However, Lysacek had been dancing with an injured foot, but it hadn’t negative affected him thus far. Yet last night, the samba proved to be a more difficult challenge and not just for Lysacek.
The Dancing With the Stars 2010 vote in Week 6 comes after a troublesome night for many competitors. Three of the seven couples only got a 21 from judges, with another getting a 22. Lysacek was among the most surprising low scorers, after five weeks of getting the highest marks from the panel. Not only that, he got a mild concussion during rehearsal, to go along with his two broken toes.
With his first mixed performance, the Dancing With the Stars 2010 vote for Week 6 puts Lysacek in trouble for the first time. Will the voters put more focus on one bad performance, rather than his whole body of work thus far? If he continues to get hurt, however, his fate may be out of the voters’ hands before long.
Along with Lysacek, the Dancing With the Stars 2010 vote of Week 6 has Jake Pavelka, Niecy Nash and Pamela Anderson in trouble. Pavelka was in the bottom two last Tuesday, and survived thanks to Gosselin, but his 21 score may put him back on the brink. Nash is also skating on the edge again with her own 21, while Pamela Anderson barely ranked higher with a 22. Anderson sunk to the bottom two twice with much higher judges’ scores, so this may not be a good sign.
The only three dancers to overcome the samba, according to judges scores, may be Scherzinger, Erin Andrews and Chad Ochocinco. Scherzinger stayed on top of the leaderboard again with a 26, while Andrews and a shirtless Maksim Chmerkovskiy got up to a 25. Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke also seemed to improve, earning a 24.
The first post-Gosselin week actually had more drama on the dance floor this time – which wasn’t good for some heading into the Dancing With the Stars 2010 vote for Week 6. They will find out their fate tonight at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
