There’s always so much time between a season finale and the new season beginning. Summer tv usually brings us nothing but filler shows to get us through til the next season of our favorite shows, so what do we do? We look forward to spoilers! I for one, am always tracking down tasting bits of information that may or may not be true for the coming season of Supernatural, but with the CW being filled with other tv shows that are hits for whatever reason, I figure I may as well provide spoilers for the demographic that isn’t me.
A new character is joining the Beverly Hills gang for Season 3. He’s supposed to be the new sexy bad guy, hails from Britain, and was a childhood friend of Ivy’s. Remember the plot line of who ran over Jasper’s uncle that dragged on throughout the entire last season? Well, apparently the storyline originally had Teddy’s father running over the victim (which I thought it was someone else all along, and then Annie just ran over him again after the fact). The scenes that revealed this storyline, however, were cut so it is going to remain, for now anyway, that Annie ran him over while driving drunk. There has to be a better twist than that.
Rob Estes and Jennie Garth will not be back next season, and Brenda and Donna will not be making appearances on the show either. The show is finally going off on its own.
Chuck is not supposed to be suffering from amnesia when Season 4 begins. His near death experience that ended Season 3, however, is supposed to create a changed man in Chuck. His new girlfriend goes by the name of Eva and is in her 20’s or 30’s. Also, producers have cast a new love interest for Nate so that should solve any mystery as to the relationship status between Nate and Serena.
A new recurring cast member is rumored to be joining the show. He has already made an appearance during Season 5, and he’s related to Sam and Dean Winchester. Mike Ausiello’s sources inform him that Mitch Pileggi is in talks to reprise his role as Sam and Dean’s grandfather. No word as to how that will play out. Trips to heaven? Ghost? I’m excited about Mitch possibly joining the cast, though. He was great on the X-Files and he’s a great actor in general.
Katherine is set to stir things up a bit now that she has made her way to town. We can also expect to see Damon’s gentler side while Stefan decides to let his evil side show a little more. There is still the possibility that Ana will be back even though she had a stake put through her heart.
This is, in fact, the final season for this series. That’s not really a spoiler, but in case you missed it, there you have it. The series will end with Clark embracing his destiny as Super Man. Rumor has it that there will be a lot of recurring cast members in and out of the scene, including Alison Mack not being a series regular for the last season. She will appear in a few episodes, but that’s it for her. Cassidy Freeman, however, will be returning as a regular in her role as Tess.
That’s all I’ve got for you.
