Crest Extra White Plus Scope Outlast Fluoride Toothpaste is Minty and Fresh

by itchy fish

When we went to Las Vegas we only took carry on bags, so had to have all our toiletries in a quart size zip-lock bag.

When we arrived at our timeshare around mid-night, all we wanted to do was freshen up and go to bed. Len realized that he had forgotten his toothpaste. Well, that night he used mine, but the following morning we called into CVS, and picked up a travel size Crest Extra White plus Scope Outlast Fluoride Toothpaste.

The size was net weight .85 ounces (24 g), at a cost of $1.19. This was a perfect size, because if he didn’t finish it, then it could come home with us in the bag.

The tube is blue on the screw cap side, and green on the other side, showing the color of the scope. There are bubbles dividing the colors.

Upon opening the toothpaste, it has a strong minty smell, which could be due to the toothpaste, or the scope. The toothpaste itself, is green, and has darker green lines in it.

Upon putting it on the toothbrush and then brushing the teeth with it, it stays a cream for a short period of time, and then foams up. The minty tastes stays all the time you are cleaning your teeth, and also after-wards.

Len used it the week we were in Vegas, morning and night, and his breath was fresh. I can’t say that his teeth were any whiter than when he first started using it.

Looking at the tube it states:

“Extra whitening power* Breath feels fresh longer.”

Then looking on the back of the tube by the * it states: “Crest Whitening plus Scope in lab tests vs. ordinary toothpaste.”

As with all many brands of toothpaste it contains Sodium Fluoride 0.243%, and it helps to protect against cavities.

This toothpaste is as good as any of the other leading toothpastes that claim to whiten the teeth. They have all progressed over the years, and it is almost impossible to find one better than the others. Many brands are made by the same company, which also leads me to this conclusion.

Crest Extra White Plus Scope Outlast Fluoride Toothpaste is distributed by Procter & Gamble, Cincinnati, OH 45202. If you have questions you can telephone 1-800-348-5573 or go to www.crest.com.

If Crest Extra White Plus Scope is at a good price then I will continue to purchase it. If not I will not hesitate to buy Ultrabrite Advanced Whitening, Aim Ultra Mint Gel, or Crest Pro-Health Whitening.

Every week one of these seems to be less than $2, for the 6.0 ounce size, so I am happy to buy whichever is the cheapest.
