Everyone knows the common signs that a digestive problem is about to rear its ugly head. You may begin to feel bloated, you may feel gassy, you may feel nausea building up inside you, and you may even begin to cramp. These all are common symptoms that you are suffering from a digestive ailment.

When you become constipated you can take a gentle laxative. Also remember to stay hydrated. When we are experiencing diarrhea, our body can loose a large amount of fluid. Drink plenty of water and juices. Limit the amount of sugary drinks and sweetened juices.
Nausea/vomiting can be caused for a number of reasons such as motion sickness, a virus and even pregnancy. If you suffer from motion sickness, try taking Sramminie or an antihistamine before a trip. If you suffer from a virus or morning sickness, try small amounts of such as dry cereals, pretzels, saltines, or a frozen fruit Popsicle.
Learn to eat smaller meals. This will make the meals easier for your stomach to digest than two or three large ones. Avoid foods such as mint, chocolate, caffeine, cheeses, heavy meats, alcohol and spicy foods. Add the following spices to your foods basil, cardamonm, turmeric and rosemary.
You may be able to find fast relief from your heartburn with antacids such as Mylanta, and Maalox. However, some people will tell you that they find lasting relief better when they use Tums.
If you wish to skip the medicine, an alternative method is to use licorice for heartburn.
Bloating and gas
Bloating and gas can be caused by eating foods such as diary products, foods that are artificially sweetened or foods that naturally cause gas symptoms such as vegetables.
Medications such as Gax-X and Mylanta are known to help eliminate gas and bloat.
Alternative methods for gas and bloating includes: sipping green tea and cranberry juices and taking peppermint capsules before each meal.
