Linkin Park Builds Apartment Building
The rock band Linkin Park has established a “Music for Relief” charity gig. Their most recent project was participating in construction of an apartment building complex to give families in need a place to live.
Linkin Park members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson and Dave “Phoenix” Farrel worked on the apartment construction project. The building project took place in Lynwood, California.
The apartment complex was built in a “green” friendly style. The band worked in conjunction with their Music for Relief foundation and the Habitat for Humanity foundation to create the apartment complex.

Heath Evans Helps Kids Recover from Sexual Abuse
Heath Evans, NFL player for the New Orleans Saints, has started the Heath Evans Foundation to help kids and families who have been impacted by sexual abuse. This NFL player is using his success to reach out to kids in crisis. This good deed is admirable indeed; his foundation will save lives and help kids regain hope after abuse.
His inspiration for the foundation came from the experiences of his wife, Beth Ann, with childhood sexual abuse. It is wonderful that this couple is using their experience of working together to overcome issues related to childhood sexual abuse to now reach out and help other children too.
The Heath Evans Foundations has licensed professional staff to work with children who have experienced child abuse. The children are helped via programs of art therapy, play therapy, group counseling, and individual counseling.
The foundation also offers athletic events for the children, where they can also hear talks by professional athletes.
The foundation has a store that sells autographed footballs, helmets and jerseys and other items too in an effort to raise funds to help children. For more information about the foundation or to purchase gifts go to: www.HeathEvans.org.
