Joan Collins Shares Her Ghastly Tale on Celebrity Ghost Stories, Season 2, Episode 1
The Sopranos star Michael Imperioli moved into the 8th floor of the Chelsea Hotel in Manhattan as a struggling actor. Arthur C. Clarke wrote 2001: A Space Odyssey there and it’s where Dylan Thomas spent his last days. Other residents asked if he met “Mary”, raising Imperioli’s curiosity. One night in the hallway of his floor, he sees “Mary” huddled over and crying in an old fashioned long black dress, and after the light bulb blew up, she disappeared. Later, other residents told “Mary’s” sad story of coming to New York to meet her husband, who died on the Titanic en route. As a result, Mary hung herself in her room. Imperioli said he was “creeped out”, and admitted on Season 2, Episode 1 of Celebrity Ghost Stories that he left a week later.
Joan Collins discussed on the Season 2, Episode 1 premiere about her 1995 trip to Venice, where she stayed at and attended a girl’s 18th birthday at a rented palazzo. Ol’ “Alexis” found the place to be ominous, and while taking in the festivities in a room hardly used, she noticed a picture of woman which gave her the feeling the picture’s eyes were following her. Collins then recalled on Season 2, Episode 1 of Celebrity Ghost Stories feeling a draft coming up her legs, then suddenly, the windows blew open and couldn’t be closed. The staff said the place was haunted. Later, she and the other guests returned and found an outline of the body of the woman of the creepy picture (made with candy). Collins then claimed a knife flew through the air and lodged in a wall. The butler said the woman had been murdered by her husband (accused of adultery) in the dining room, and that the room was mostly avoided because this alleged ghost didn’t like people having fun where she was killed. Collins stayed elsewhere.
Donna D’Errico’s Imaginary Friend Wasn’t So Imaginary on Celebrity Ghost Stories, Season 2, Episode 1
Donna D’Errico who starred in Baywatch, confessed to being a really lonely girl. But at a lake where she frequented, a girl named Nancy came up to her and they became quick friends. D’Errico invited her new friend to dinner, but she was the only family member at the table who could see Nancy. D’Errico kept on seeing Nancy, and her family soon tired of what they thought was her imaginary friend. One night, while in D’Errico’s bedroom, the two girls giggled even though her father kept telling her to quiet down. When the future actress said that Nancy was in there, her father got furious and D’Errico told her only “friend” to go away for good, which made Nancy cry and she was never seen again. The next morning, her father asked her what Nancy looked like, and when her description matched her father’s, D’Errico’s father admitted to seeing Nancy the previous evening leaving his daughter’s room crying, fading into a door. D’Errico’s parents researched old records, and found that around 100 years earlier, a girl who looked and dressed like Nancy had drowned at the lake.
Corey Feldman discussed being raised by his grandmother on Season 2, Episode 1 of Celebrity Ghost Stories. In 2009, he was living in a new house with his then wife and child. Marital tensions coincided with thumping, scampering and scratching noises in the house. Feldman’s son was found to be talking to some presence in his room. The boy told Feldman that he was talking to a woman. Later, the star of such movies like The Goonies and Stand by Me heard some banging and humming. Feldman then heard a woman with a foreign accent talking in his son’s room. He found nothing upon entering it except the ring his grandfather gave him, which had been normally kept in a secure place. Feldman concluded on Season 2, Episode 1 of Celebrity Ghost Stories that it was his grandmother’s presence, telling him to move on with his life, and soon after, he divorced. There’s been peace in the house since with his son.
