FORT WORTH, TEXAS – July XX, 2010 – CCRA Travel Solutions – a leading provider of business-related solutions for travel professionals and industry suppliers – is now accepting enrollment and re-enrollment applications for its 2011 Hotel Negotiated Rate Program, which places properties in front of thousands of travel agencies & independent agents worldwide. In addition to gaining access to three distribution channels for the price of one – including CCRA’s highly acclaimed GDS and its newly enhanced online booking portal, CCRAtravel.com – participating hotels will also benefit from the following two new, complimentary marketing programs designed to help suppliers expand their reach and gain a competitive edge in 2011:
• CCRA’s new “Better than the Best Rate Program” will provide participating hotels that offer more than 10% off BAR, with a FREE 30-day destination banner ad on CCRAtravel.com. Hotels that provide up to 10% or more off BAR will also be included in a special “Better than the Best” designated page on the CCRAtravel.com website, which will be promoted to agents and agencies through CCRA eBlasts and eNewsletters distributed throughout 2011. Hotels will also receive an enhanced online and social media presence through CCRA’s highly followed Twitter and Facebook accounts, through regular tweets and Facebook posts showcasing the hotels that offer travel agents these “Better than the Best” rates.
• The new “CCRA Exclusive Program” will help hotels add more value and stand apart from competitors by offering guests a non-standard amenity as part of their CCRA rate for bookings made through CCRAtravel.com. Interested hotels will simply need to add a non-standard amenity to their CCRA rate code description, as well as inform their front desk/reservations department about the value-added amenity that will be provided to all guests checking in under this rate code. In addition, CCRA will spotlight the participating hotel listings with a special CCRA Exclusive designation icon on the CCRA website, so agents can easily search for these hotels that opt to provide guests with a special, added-value offering.
What truly makes CCRA’s Hotel Program stand-out from the rest are three distinct member benefits: hotels will gain access to THREE distribution channels for the price of one, and will be able to reach TWO critical audiences worldwide for ONE low price. Not only is CCRA the only program that provides distribution to agents in both a GDS AND non-GDS environment (via CCRA’s free online hotel booking portal for agents, CCRAtravel.com), but it’s also the only hotel program distributed through Amadeus’ Vacation Link platform. CCRA Travel Solutions also enables hotels to reach two critical audiences worldwide – more than 23,000 corporate travel agencies and over 55,000 independent agents specializing in leisure travel. And finally, the 2011 Hotel Program is offered for just one low participation fee of $850, per supplier.
In addition to the two new free marketing opportunities, all hotels that participate in the CCRA Hotel Program in 2011 will receive the following as part of the annual $850 participation fee: a highlighted hotel listing on the CCRA online booking portal (CCRAtravel.com), preferred rates that will be integrated into the CCRA Portal and GDS systems, the opportunity to market to 23,000 CCRA travel agency members, distribution of travel agent/FAM rates to all CCRA travel agent and agency members and a preferred rate program participant listing on CCRAtravel.com and CCRA portal websites.
Now is the time for current CCRA suppliers, as well as those interested in joining the program for the first time, to submit enrollment applications before the deadline of September 7th, 2010. Current members of the CCRA Hotel Program can re-enroll for 2011 by contacting their chain’s RFP provider or consortia sales contact. Hotels that are not yet a part of the CCRA Hotel Program, can find out more information about the array of benefits and minimal costs associated with being a CCRA hotel supplier, by visiting the following website: http://www.ccra.com/suppliers/supplier_rfp.php.
