Cameron’s Seafood is a huge, sprawling seafood and fresh fish restaurant that has been a fixture in Pasadena since 1984. A plethora of fresh fish and seafood are delivered there daily, including: clams, oysters, shellfish, halibut, sole, lobster, crab, shrimp, scallops, ahi, catfish, mahi-mahi, Pacific red snapper, orange roughy, salmon, Chilean white sea bass, thresher shark, swordfish, tilapia, Idaho rainbow trout, Australian baramundi, and calamari. They serve this amazing selection of seafood and fish, baked, grilled, scampi style, panko (fried) and tempura style.
Along with the individual tables and booths, they offer 2 group banquet rooms, the smaller one can seat 25 people and the larger one can seat 50-70 people comfortably. You can shop at their fresh fish market or enjoy happy hour cocktails and beer in the sports bar that boasts a large screen TV. The unusual interior decoration features huge reproductions of marlin and swordfish hanging on the wall, alongside old black-and-white photos of fishermen and women proudly standing by the huge fish they just caught.
A favorite signature dish among their patrons is their grilled scallops plate that comes with your choice of two sides. The sides are: garlic mashed potatoes, potatoes au gratin, steamed seasonal vegetables, rice pilaf, fresh coleslaw, sliced tomatoes or French fries. Their indoor mesquite grilling lends the scallops a wonderfully woody flavor and comes wrapped in bacon. The coleslaw is always fresh and the mashed potatoes, handmade. Nothing is ever frozen or from a box, they take pride in making hearty, flavorful fresh meals.
They also serve lemon chicken, Hawaiian chicken kabob, New York steak, rib eye steak, and several “surf and turf”combos. Their lunch menu includes a variety of fresh salads, burgers and sandwiches as well as tasty appetizers, like their four cheese and artichoke hearts dip, served with an assortment of tortilla chips and crackers.
Their sumptuous champagne Sunday brunch buffet, which is served from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., includes such favorites as Cameron’s ranchero omelette, Cameron’s scallop omelette, Cameron’s Bay shore omelette, their short stack of pancakes, and fish dishes like fresh salmon, Pacific red snapper, and their lemon chicken breast. The buffet includes offerings from the seafood, breakfast, salad and fruit bar and is $29.95 per person.
