Brothers Dan and Jordan won on The Amazing Race 16, Episode 12, which mostly aired on CBS Sunday night from San Francisco. The duo never blew their quick start once they landed in America. Yet the shallow models Brent and Caite self-destructed on The Amazing Race 16, Episode 12. Jet and Cord (brothers, too, but referred to as “the cowboys”) were steady, but not steady enough to win it all. What aired Sunday night was the last show in this particular contest.
The Amazing Race 16, Episode 12 Saw the Shallow Models Self-Destruct in San Francisco
From the pit stop in Shanghai, the three teams got their marching orders to leave for the airport early in the morning to San Francisco. All three teams met at the airport hours before they were to check in. But Dan and Jordan (the primary culprit) cut in front of Jet and Cord in the check in line, which pissed off the cowboys. Dan schemed his way to get his team moved up to first class during the flight, helping them get a taxi first. Brent and Caite were second to get a taxi, followed by the cowboys.
The clue the brothers got first at Battery Godfrey on The Amazing Race 16, Episode 12 was to go to Coit Tower, which they found out because a bike rider solved their riddle for them. Despite getting off the plane last, Jet and Cord got to their clue second. The shallow models started bitching at each other on their way to Battery Godfrey as their cab driver couldn’t get them to their clue expediently, which made Caite cry her eyes out and call the driver a “dumb ass.”
At Coit Tower, one team member had to make a 120 foot climb up the structure. Dan climbed first, and got a new clue: go to Yoda Fountain at Industrial Light & Magic. Cord climbed the tower, and the cowboys headed to Yoda Tower. Brent got his climb done last but enjoyed himself. At Industrial Light & Magic, one team member had to put on a “Motion Capture Suit” and move through levels to find their next clue, directed by the other team member via a “SFX” set up. Jordan was directed by Dan, and they began fussing at each other over the convoluted exercise (the clue had fast-spinning text), but the brothers got their clue first to head to The Tonga Room on The Amazing Race 16, Episode 12.
Cord directed Jet through the levels, and even though Brent directed Caite got to ILM last, they got done just after the cowboys. The shallow models forgot their belongings on the way to The Tonga Room, and nothing else they did was shown since they weren’t going to win; that is, until they crossed the finish line.
Candlestick Park in San Francisco Was the Finishing Line on The Amazing Race 16, Episode 12
At the Tonga Room, Dan and Jordan were the first to arrive, and needed to find and carry a trunk, which directed them to go to the Great American Music Hall. Jet and Cord tried to catch up with the first place brothers, but were second to land there. At the music venue, the teams had to arrange psychedelic posters of the past teams in order of their elimination on The Amazing Race 16, and the brothers did so quickly. They next got directions to go to Candlestick Park but had trouble flagging down a taxi, but got one just before the cowboys.
Brandy Had Harsh Words for Caite to End The Amazing Race 16, Episode 12 on CBS from San Francisco
On The Amazing Race 16, Episode 12, the race for the million dollars between the cab drivers with the cowboys and brothers wasn’t too close as Dan and Jordan easily won over Jet and Cord on a contest that lasted 23 days on 5 continents and covered some 40,000 miles. All the other teams from previous The Amazing Race episodes were there to cheer the last three teams on. Caite wanted to prove to the world that she’s an intelligent person by finishing the race, but Brandy (who with Carol was undercut in an earlier episode by the vapid models) was still pissed at the only woman to finish the race, and wouldn’t accept the olive branch from Caite, who admitted she could’ve been nicer.
