Bret Michaels is not coming back slowly from his near death experience after suffering through a brain hemorrhage last month. No, he is coming back in full force. Not only is he heading back out on tour at the end of May, but he is on Oprah next week. He will also be attending the finale of “The Celebrity Apprentice”, according to Access Hollywood.
Bret Michaels On Oprah Next Week
The first public venue where you will see Michaels’ will be on the Oprah Show, which airs next week on May 19th. Michaels will be touring with Lynyrd Skynyrd, starting on June 10th at the Cruzan Amphitheater in Palm Beach, Fla.
Bret Michaels First Concert is May 28 in Mississippi
Bret’s first concert is set for Friday, May 28, in Biloxi, Miss., at the Hard Rock Live,. He is getting ready to do this by participating in rehabilitation twice a day instead of the once a day schedule he was originally on.
Bret’s brain hemorrhage was a grave condition that is fatal to 80 to 90 percent of its victims. The brain hemorrhage stopped, if it hadn’t he would not be here today. Bret’s band members are preparing for his return and have mapped out every hospital along the way of the tour. The addresses of the medical institutions will be given to the bus driver of his tour bus.
We Know Bret Michaels Better Than Most Rock Stars Because of His Appearance in Reality Shows
We have gotten to know Bret Michaels a little bit better than we do most rock stars and this is because of his appearances in reality shows. His own show Rock of Love really let us see who Bret the person is. Celebrity Apprentice introduced us to the Bret who is one very hard worker and he does not seem to be the type to be able to lie around and recuperate. Although I am sure his doctors are guiding Bret in his recuperation, I just hope he does not do too much too soon.
The condition Michaels survived is something that comes on quickly and often without any warning. It is an immediate emergency with many dying almost shortly after the hemorrhage starts. This of course depends on the many factors of how big the bleed is on the brain, the duration, and location of the bleed.
Bret is Coming Back With Gusto On a Full Schedule
Bret is not going to live his life in fear of another hemorrhage occurring. He is going to live every day to its fullest and this is a great attitude to walk away from this with. Let’s just hope he doesn’t try and grab too much gusto all at once. It is OK for him to take care of himself for a while and take it easy in his return to his hectic life.
