Adrenal Type or A Types, according to the “Body Type Diet” by Dr. Abravanel, are people who crave the greasy, salty foods most often. They tend to be “square” looking with not much of a curve line.
It’s not easy to tell whether you are an Adrenal Type versus a Gonadal, Thyroid or Pituitary Body Type, so I highly recommend reading Dr. Abravanel’s book to take his quiz on determining body type. Once I read his incredibly awesome diet book, I knew for certain I am a “Thyroid” type.
Some signs of being a Type A, Adrenal Type include exercising because you are supposed to; being friendly, open and practical. They may be outgoing and friendly when up and angry when down.
How you know if you are a Type A, Adrenal Type, has to do with your physical appearance as well as temperament. Adrenal Types are slow to get angry, but if they do become angry they are mad for a while. They get over their anger by talking, according to author Dr. Abravanel’s “Body Type Diet” book.
Overweight Type A, Adrenal Types are square, sturdy and heavy looking.
