Just one of many ads that are quoted as deceptive is the one carried by The Bill Killer, is it a scam? Or just so difficult to master that you feel like you have been scammed?
After much trawling about looking at various ways in which to make money on the internet I bump into one that was e-mailed to me by a friend, who asked me to take a look at it and see what I thought.
I opened the link, which graciously he didn’t send with a Google affiliate number attached, which I did find funny because he must be absolutely sick of my affiliate links… it must have been a hint!
Anyway I followed the link within the mail and quickly saw what the advert was for; the ‘Bill Killer’; apparently designed to make you a fortune even while you sleep.
Now I quickly recognized this virtual MLM scheme straight away as another friend of mine had been sucked into it a few months ago, and to be honest I would have thought that the system would have quietly gone away, but some one is still making money from it so it must be profitable somewhere along the line; I suspect this is at the top level.
Well what I know of the ‘Bill Killer’ after seeing it played out in front of my very own eyes, is that you would probably make some kind of profit if you had plenty of money to throw at it in the first place.
But when you first take on the mantel of being one of the ‘Bill Killer’ website affiliates you pay a fee, and choose a product to sell, the product my friend had been trying to sell was some medical product, that was not worth a jot, which quickly after doing a bit of number crunching had the product weaned down to a possible 2 sales per week if he was lucky, if you said that a few hundred other affiliates had been selling the product too.
The next part was his website which actually kept referring back to a main page which if I remember rightly was something called The Product Supply Center.
I also noted that for my friend to actually sell more products he would have had to shell out another possible $1500.00, as this was basically to open up the other hundreds of products that are available.
I quickly said to my friend; “don’t you think it would be just as easy to buy yourself a dot com hosted professionally and build your own website selling dollar items from the wholesale suppliers up the road?”
His reply was the frustrated look of ‘I realize I have just been scammed!”
So in reply to my friend’s email I told him basically to stop and think… I believe if you had plenty of time and money to do the ‘Bill Killer’ system, then you may make a few dollars in the long run.
I’m sure there are many people out there that can pull off what is required, but for ma, my friends and several others I have spoken too, the ‘Bill Killer’ does not seen to be all that it is cracked out to be.
A genuine money making facility would really not need to sell you the knowledge on how to make money. It should be given away willingly and maybe at most a commission taken on products sold.
In my view any company who is charging you for the privilege of selling their products, does not have confidence that products will sell.
I leave it up to you now if you wish to go for the ‘Bill Killer’ system, but me… I for one will not entertain it.
