There is a dark cloud over the house when Episode 15 of Big Brother opens and that cloud’s name is Rachel. Apparently, Miss Thang really doesn’t like it that she and her man have been put up for eviction. It is full on doom and gloom for both Rachel and Brendon and Rachel seems to be getting just a tad bit psychotic. First, she is giving everyone the evil eye. Then, she stares down Kathy while she is in the kitchen chopping up onions. The other house guests make reference to the movie Fatal Attraction. Luckily, there aren’t any little bunnies hopping around. Brendon tells Rachel that if he wins, he will use the Power of Veto on her. Rachel says that she could not stay in the house by herself, but Brendon counters that if he had a choice between love and money, he would choose love. Hey, whatever floats your boat right?
The house guests go outside to the backyard and they see that a bowling lane has been set up. Big Brother oftentimes gives the house guests time to practice for the competition before it begins. Everyone starts to practice and Rachel is so distraught that she just goes into the house crying and lays on the bed under the covers. She explains that all she does is fight, fight, fight to stay in the house and that she doesn’t have anything left in her to give. Brendon goes in and gives her another pep talk and once again they are annoying me. Brendon’s talk works and he and Rachel go out to practice bowling. They are so stoked about winning the competition that they stay up until 4am. Rachel says this is her house and she is not going anywhere. She actually is getting pretty good at the bowling too. I am just waiting for the Rocky music to start.
Next it is time to choose players for the veto competition. This time there will be seven players. Ragan is the additional player because he won the Veto ticket in the last competition. Matt picks Kathy, Rachel picks Britney and Brendon picks House guest choice and decides to let Enzo play since he thinks Enzo could lose. The door bell rings and its Jeff and Jordan from last season. They are all dressed up in pink and black bowling uniforms and couldn’t be any cuter. Everyone in the house is happy to see people other than themselves and they are very friendly and jovial. Matt is especially happy to see them because Jeff is from Chi-town. Jordan immediately boosts Enzo’s ego by using his nickname the Meow Meow. Jeff and Jordan are the showmance from last season and they are still a couple.
The bowling Power of Veto competition begins and Rachel is eliminated first. Maybe she was tired from all that 4am bowling. In a very surprising event, it was Kathy who beat Rachel. Kathy never wins anything, but she pulled out a win after Rachel challenged her. Kathy celebrated her small victory over Rachel who became very angry and thought Kathy was disrespecting her because she was so happy about winning. Brendon is up next and only knocks down three pins. Brendon did so poorly that he threw the last ball towards the pins and could have hit either Jeff or Jordan. This guy is about to have a meltdown. Rachel thinks a monkey could have knocked down at least four pins. Brendon challenges Britney who wipes the floor with Brendon, eliminating him and his chance for the Power of Veto. At this point, I know one of the showmance is going home so I can just stop watching. But, I know you all want to know what else happens so I keep tuning in. After the dark cloud and her man were eliminated, the mood turned fun and jovial with Britney and Matt as the final two. Britney is victorious again. Jeff and Jordan leave as Jeff has to get back to his Tour Around the World which you can check out on www.cbs.com and Jordan heads back to finish up school.
Rachel still fuming from Kathy’s celebration of beating her and says she is going to confront Kathy. Rachel actually tells Kathy that it was wrong of her to celebrate her win and that it was very disrespectful because she is at her lowest point in the game. Kathy tells Rachel that she was happy that she won because she knows Rachel picked her assuming she’d lose. Rachel insists that Kathy apologize and Kathy tells Rachel she is wasting her breath. Rachel keeps following Kathy around the house quite disgustingly telling her to apologize. Kathy says that she might hit Rachel if she doesn’t stop. In a very heated face to face exchange, Kathy tells Rachel that she won, end of story.
It is time for the Saboteur to get select his sabotage for the week so Ragan goes into the Diary room and looks at Twitter and Facebook for America’s suggestions. He selects the one that says to turn Rachel and Brendon against each other. Next the house looks at a saboteur recorded message that says Brendon is throwing challenges to get farther in the house. The message goes well because the house guests think the saboteur is trying to get Brendon evicted instead of Rachel. Of course because Rachel and Brendon are so in love, they don’t even think of turning on each other.
Rachel didn’t get anywhere with Kathy so she moves on to Britney and tries to get her to use the Power of Veto to take her off the block. Britney listens to Rachel who offers her the $5,000 she won in the last challenge. Britney tells Rachel that she would be a target if she took that money and lets her know she can’t use the Power of Veto on her. Hey, at least Britney was honest.
During their speeches to stay in the house, Rachel plays the friend card and tells Britney to save her from eviction. I don’t really know what Brendon was trying to do with his speech, but he tells Britney she is a brat and shady but to use the Power of Veto on him. I guess he was playing the Captain Kosher card. Brendon sweetie, don’t hold your breath on that one. Britney doesn’t use the Power of Veto and I continue to celebrate because either the dark cloud or her man are going home. Hooray, Game on! Happy Watching!
