Thursdays are my favorite day to watch Big Brother. Usually, someone goes home and there is a competition that determines who will hold the power next. This week apparently the HOH will have a special privilege as Julie Chen teases before a commercial break that whoever wins will be the most powerful Head of Household ever.
Kristen starts off the show still crying because she is up against her showmance object of affection Hayden. She knows that they will have to be separated and it is very hard for her. Hayden tells Kristen that it is okay for her to campaign against him. As Kristen starts to have individual talks with people, she tries to convince Ragan and Britney that Hayden may be in an alliance with the other Alpha males in the house and that they will be in jeopardy. Kristen already knows that she has Kathy’s vote. That would give her three votes. She needs one more vote and decides to talk to Brendon alone. Brendon doesn’t look convinced and I am wondering where Rachel is during the conversation. Sitting outside Kristen notices that Matt, Enzo, Lane and Hayden are all working out together. She begins to think that maybe he told her to campaign against him because he knew that he already had the votes of those guys. She doesn’t know about the Brigade alliance but she is getting pretty close to figuring it out.
Britney starts a little more drama by telling Enzo that Rachel said she would put Lane on the chopping block if Britney used the power of veto. Enzo doesn’t like that Rachel is going after one of the Brigade members and vows to try to win HOH so that he could put up Rachel and Brendon.
Julie talks to the houseguests for a brief moment and then she says that someone back home had their heart broken because of the Hayden/Kristen showmance. It makes me think that one of them has a mate back home. First, we go to Hayden’s house where we see the cutest little paces of Hayden as a little boy. Hayden’s mom is not happy about the showmance with Kristen and thinks it may take her son off of his game. She even goes as far to say that Kristen is crazy. This is kind of weird coming from a woman who called her child the love of her life. I know what she means but it just seems a sounded a little too close for comfort. Then on to Kristen’s friends who aren’t surprised that she has a showmance with Hayden because he is gorgeous. The person who was surprised about Kristen’s showmance was her boyfriend of two months. He sits and watches as Kristen and Hayden kiss and just shakes his head in disgust. He said that he asked Kristen before she went into the house if she wanted to go into the house single and she said no. Well, apparently, she forgot about that conversation when she started her showmance with Hayden. Either way, he boyfriend said it was over.
It is now time for the live eviction and Kristen gives some crazy speech or maybe its just the fact that she still has on the hippie tard that makes it seem warped. In any event, Kristen is kicked out of the house with only Kathy voting to keep her. When Julie asks Kristen why she didn’t get more votes she says it’s because some people are scared to vote against the majority. Julie also asks Kristen about her boyfriend back home and she says she needs time alone to herself. Kristen and Julie say she played with dignity. If dignity means starting a showmance with someone in the Big Brother house and cheating on your boyfriend back home then yes, Kristen played with a lot of dignity. Rachel once again doesn’t disappoint when she says goodbye to Kristen by saying she couldn’t believe she talked to her man alone for his vote. Rachel also calls her a ho. Is everyone still keeping a count of how many times Rachel says me and my man? I will reveal the number in the very fortunate event that Rachel and her man are kicked out of the house. Hayden reveals in his goodbye that he is in an alliance with the Brigade but that if he had to choose between them and Kristen he would choose Kristen. That’s easy for him to say now that she has been sent packing.
Next up is the new Head of Household competition. Julie reveals that America chose Ragan as the person they wanted to be the saboteur and that Enzo received the second highest number of votes. The HOH winner this week can decide whether they want to open Pandora’s Box and unleash the new saboteur on the house. The competition has the houseguests suspended around a paint can. The last person standing is the winner. The paint can goes around and around and they all get splattered with paint. Then to take it up a notch, they got smacked with a paint-filled brush that looks like it really hurts. And so the night ends with the houseguests being painted and swatted. Can’t wait to see who wins. Happy Watching!
