Keke Palmer recently attended a fundraising 5K walk/run at Pacific Palisades High School along with Monique Coleman and Christ Tucker to help raise money for children who suffer from cancer. Called the Smile for Life run, the event is held in honor of a teenager who was killed by cancer four years ago and this annual event is one of their major fundraisers to help fight cancer in children.
Miranda Cosgrove is your typical 17 year-old girl. She wants to get a car, but right now her priority is acing her SAT test and getting into college. She plans on attending USC or NYU but she still plans on doing some acting according to People magazine. Cosgrove is a role model for teens everywhere to say that school is more important than anything when you are a teenager.
Justin Bieber, up and coming teenage singing sensation, joined legendary songwriter Sting along with Larry King to raise money for oil spill victims in the Gulf region. The telethon was aired on CNN for two hours and included other stars such as Cameron Diaz and Robert Redford.
David Archuleta made a statement on American Idol and has been doing well ever since. When the Children’s Miracle Network ambassadors known as “Champions” visited the White House, Archuleta was there to sing the National Anthem at a Washington Nationals baseball game.
