This casual authentic restaurant is in West Hollywood and it is truly a diners delight. The Lasagna Verde is my all time favorite; it is made with a beef and veal ragu and the sauce was amazing. Giada de Laurentis from The Food Netwrok has also recommended this dish. The Chocolate mousse with candied hazelnuts, macerated strawberries and shortcake was so rich and delicious. Parking is a little tough here, but they do have valet.

This Italian wonderland of goodness is in Westwood, and you are crazy if you don’t go try their fresh gnocchi. Their cozy feel and hearty portions are a good match for all Italian food lovers. Cappuccino here is great and the prices are reasonable. Pomodoro Trattoria has several traditional Italian items and also some Americanized Italian options as well.

Located Downtown, this restaurant allows you to bring your own wine with no corkage fee. Everything that I have ever ordered here was quite good. The pumpkin ravioli with walnut cream sauce is delectable. It a tad sweet with the nutty sauce and it really won me over. The food here is fresh and their weekly specials are worth a try.

Il Pastaio Restaurant
Located in Beverly Hills, this restaurant serves authentic Italian meals. The options here are simple and good. The squid ink risotto has such a nice flavor, and the texture is just right. The Carnaroli Rice with Porcini Mushrooms really made my palate sing. This place is pricey, but it is worth it.

An amazing Mid Wilshire eatery, no too pricey and the food is authentic and delicious. The home style Italian favorites are worth trying out. The ingredients here are the freshest of the fresh. The Gnocchi del Boscaiolo is a melt in your mouth dish filled with peas, ham, mushrooms and a delectable cream sauce. The tiramisu here is phenomenal; it is so silky smooth.
