Best “Nightmare on Elm Street” Action Figure Sets

by itchyfish

“Nightmare on Elm Street” movies are filled with fantastic effects, detailed make-up and some of horror cinemas scariest and most memorable scenes. Instead of simply rewatching the scenes over and over again, fans of Freddy Krueger and “Nightmare on Elm Street” can relive the best moments through several action figures sets. These sets are clearly not for children and are great display items to go with “Nightmare on Elm Street” DVDs.

Cinema of Fear Series 2 – Nancy Thompson Action Figure: One of the most memorable scenes from the first Nightmare on Elm Street was the infamous bathtub nap that character Nancy Thompson took during the movie. As she lies in the bath, Freddy’s claw pops up out of the water and heads towards her. This figure set recreates that moment down to every last detail. The bath even features fake bubbles, a faucet, and tile walls. Cinema of Fear Series 4 Action Figure Surgeon Freddy Krueger: Nightmare on Elm Street 4 is not as memorable as some other movies from the series, but this action figure captures Freddy in a classic surgical outfit featured in the movie. Along with the detailed figure, it comes with an interchangeable head that features a masked Freddy as well. 2010 Freddy Krueger Figure: The majority of “Nightmare on Elm Street” figures display Freddy Kruger’s classic look, but in conjunction with the new “Nightmare on Elm Street” movie, fans can purchase a replica of the new Freddy. Whether you are a fan of the new Freddy of not, this action figure accurately recreates the villain right down to every face scar. The claws are realistic and a Freddy “Before Death” version is also available. Freddy vs. Jason Deluxe Set: “Freddy vs. Jason” pit the two horror icons together in a memorable, somewhat cheesy bloodbath, and the final scenes provided the best action as Freddy and Jason went head to head in the real world. This two figure set recreates those action-filled moments and the figures feature alternative heads and a flame filled set to display the figures on. A New Nightmare Cult Classics Series 2: Wes Craven returned to the “Nightmare” franchise with “A New Nightmare” and along with it came a new-looking Freddy. Featuring enhanced scars on his face and a new black coat, the Freddy provided a different look than the campy classic. This figure represents that Freddy and is one of the most detailed Freddy Krueger figures available, especially in the head creation. Two heads are available for Freddy’s body and the set comes with a display stand and removable hat.
