Over the years, my husband and I have become somewhat of experts on where to go for free kids meals, as well as those places that offer cheap kids meals. Some of the places we went when the first 3 or 4 kids were little are no longer in business, but we’ve gone on to find some new favorites that my little kids now call their favorite places to eat out. Here are a few of the best kids eat free restaurants in Milwaukee that we’ve found currently work well for our family.
Charcoal Grill and Rotisserie
Our family enjoys the atmosphere of this restaurant. A sort of southwest casual type of thing, that includes a touch of cozy with it. They have food that my husband, myself, and our kids all enjoy. My husband is a big meat eater so if the meat is good, he’s happy. Along with some of the regular types of kids meals like chicken fingers, grilled cheese, spaghetti and burgers, they include a healthy twist with fruit smoothies. That made me the health freak very happy. They also offer gluten free for people like me that are gluten sensitive. This restaurant has a nice bar area if the adults want to enjoy a cocktail as well.

Ponderosa Steak House
Here’s another place the whole family can enjoy. Even myself the rawist. That’s because they have a great salad bar loaded with a huge variety of raw food items to choose from. My husband the meat eater loves the steaks and the kids love the kids menu that consists of a 6 oz. steak, kids burger, kids buffet, hot dog and chicken strips. None of my kids have ever complained so it must be a winner!

This is a great family restaurant with a wide variety of well made meals starting with great breakfasts, onto lunches and dinners. Breakfast is probably our favorite meal at this restaurant. The kids breakfast menu consists of things like rainbow pancakes that have multi-colored sprinkles on top, as well as pancakes shaped as a bear, and a waffle tower that the kids really get a bang out of. A modest egg breakfast consisting of one egg toast and bacon is also included on the kids menu, as well as a slice of toast with fresh fruit on the side.

Kids eat free Tuesdays all day
It’s been awhile since we’ve been to the Chancery, but it has a great kids menu full of a variety of appetizers, baskets of fries, onion rings and other fun finger foods. It also includes a great entrée menu consisting of noodles and marinara, noodles and cheese, soft shell tacos and a small deli sandwich. With a great variety of appetizers and entrées for adults, it’s not a wonder this restaurant chain has been around so long. We liked the fact that we could enjoy a nice cocktail from the bar as well, while the kids colored or enjoyed their appetizers.
