Anwar al Awlaki has released a video via al Qaeda today that urges the murder of American civilians and soldiers. He is an American citizen who now lives in Yemen after moving there in 2004. He is a rogue Imam who is recruiting members for al Qaeda.
The CIA has put him on the list for assassination. He is urging radical Muslims to join the cause of jihad and kill Americans. He is a threat to our nation. He is wanted, dead or alive.
The NY Times reports that al-Awlaki uses videos to urge people to join the jihad cause. He states “The United States of intentionally killed a million Muslim civilians in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere.” He adds “When America started to feel the danger of Islam’s message, it tightened limits on freedom and after 9/11 it was impossible to live in America as a Muslim.”
How many Americans did al-Alwaki manage to convert to jihad via attendance at his mosques in California and Virginia? Do those states now harbor an unusual amount of young men eager to participate in jihad?

His speeches are widely available online. They are being used as tools of indoctrination to bring young men into the quest for jihad against America. The NY Times reports that the six men who were arrested in New Jersey for a plan to attack Fort Dix were inspired by al-Awlaki.
Anwar al-Awlaki: Ties to Fort Hood Shooter and 9/11 Terrorists
Anwar al-Awlaki had links to several of the 9/11 terrorists. They attended his mosque in California. He was also in contact with Major Nidal Malik Hasan Hasan, an American who is allegedly the murderer of soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas. He has also been linked to Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the “undie bomber” who tried to blow up a plane over Detroit on Christmas evening. Now Time reports that al Awlaki is also linked to Faisal Shahzad, who attempted to blow up a car in Times Square, New York City.
The Huffington Post reports that he refers to Hasan and the “undie bomber” as his “students.” He encourages others to kill soldiers like Hasan allegedly did by saying: “I ask every Muslim serving in the US Army to follow suit.”
Not So Holy: Involved with Prostitutes
Mr. al Awlaki was arrested several times while he lived (and preached) in San Diego for soliciting prostitutes, reports the NY Times. His criminal act of solicitation certainly deems him a non-religious person. So do his threats of murder to Americans. Anwar al-Awlaki you are not a Muslim, you are a terrorist.
