Angell and Phelps Chocolate Factory has provided decadent handcrafted chocolates to Daytona Beach residents and tourists since 1925. An icon in the community, Angell and Phelps is the brainchild of Riddell Angell and Cora Phelps. These entrepreneurial women managed to brave the elements of salty air and high humidity while making their delicate creations in a store with no air conditioning.
Angell and Phelps is now owned by Charles Smith who expanded the business in 1999 to include a gourmet café. It’s one of the few places in town where you can have your cake and eat it too! The chocolate factory and restaurant are centrally located on Beach Street in downtown Daytona; making it easy to incorporate into sightseeing activities when visiting the area.
