Ali Fedotowsky has just three guys left to choose from: Chris, Roberto, and Frank. The previews show Frank telling Ali those dreaded words: “we need to talk.”
She has had a connection with all three guys throughout the show, even Frank.
Frank revealed as he has been on the show he has began thinking about his ex-girlfriend, Nicole. He isn’t sure if he is still in love with Nicole, and then he reveals that he has feelings for both Ali and Nicole. Frank leaves the show to see Nicole.
Last episode he was hiding a secret and now that secret has been revealed, but not to Ali. Yet. Frank told Nicole that he still has feelings for her, and that his feelings for Ali are real. Nicole said ever since he left he has consumed her mind, and it hurt that he had already fell for someone else. Frank pondered why he was still thinking of Nicole, although he was fighting for Ali. And he wanted to see if he and Nicole still had that spark. Nicole told him to come home, and said that she hasn’t been complete since he left. I feel sorry for Nicole for feeling that way about him. They hugged, and Frank told the cameras that Nicole is the girl he wants to be with for the rest of his life. And then they kissed, even though he has yet to tell Ali anything. He told Nicole that he has to go tell Ali what he decided today, and that he needs support and a lot of courage and strength.
Dates in Tahiti :
And then Frank was off to Tahiti, when he could have just called and told Ali. He is such a drama-queen. Tahiti is more beautiful than I had imagined.
Roberto and Ali:
The first date with Ali, in Tahiti, went to Roberto, as usual. They have maintained a connection the entire show, and it has grown that much more. There is now an even bigger chance than they will end up together. They both seem like genuine people, and when they are together they seem so in love. The happy couple had their date on a heart-shaped island. They quickly made out in the crystal-clear water.
She said Roberto is real, caring, has a huge heart, and makes her feel taken care of. But, it flashed to previews of a nervous Roberto saying he had something to reveal. Then Roberto revealed that he spent the last week missing her, and he feels like he has been closed off. He said he feels like everything they have been through that it is important that he tell her. Roberto said he is falling in love with her.
After their make-out session she said she had a letter from host Chris Harrison for Roberto to read. Inside the envelope was a key, and a note saying that they could stay the night together, in the fantasy suite, if they chose to. The choice was theirs to make, and you know they did spend the night together. (Woot! Woot!)
Chris and Ali :
Chris and Ali had their date next and set sail aboard a catamaran. She told him that she liked meeting his family, and he liked how easy it was. His family welcomed her in with open arms, and that took it to the next level. Chris revealed that he hasn’t dated in a couple of years, since his mother’s passing, and that he came on the show a bit guarded. But now he has let the guard down.
Ali said since they took more time for their relationship that their spark is ignited now. She called their time together perfect because they have romance and sparks flying, but they are still friends, and like to have adventure. They made out in the water, while the sun went down. Ali said that their relationship got a lot stronger on their date, and you could see that it really did. Then they too got a key and a chance at staying in the fantasy suite, together. He told the cameras that he loved her 100%. Aw! He is so cute! And then he whispered, “God, I love you.” The dude is amazing, and I am at loss for words.
Then it was time for Frank to tell Ali that he is still in love with Ali. He said he was confident in the decision he made, but he didn’t want to hurt Ali. Frank went straight to Chris Harrison to let him know what was going home, and to get advice on how to tell Ali. Harrison said he was blown away, and now a matter of days later everything had changed. That is how douche’s operate: they lie, lead people on, and then let them down. Enter Frank. Boy, did he look scared. Harrison told him to tell her right away and to be honest. That’s why he is a great host for this show – he really is!
Ali went to meet Frank saying on the way that the date with him was the most important one. She said she really missed him. They see each other, and instantly when she holds on to him he says we need to talk. And she could tell it was something bad. She cared so much for him, and it is sad to see him tell her about another woman. He said he was falling for her, but something was holding him back, basically unresolved feelings for an ex-girlfriend. He said he could have married her, but he wanted to solve his issues first. Instead of closure they decided that they wanted to be together. I actually started feeling sorry for Frank too. He said she was perfect and made him feel good about himself, but with Nicole he felt something click.
She wanted to know why he never said anything to her about Nicole, and she couldn’t believe it. She was so excited to see him. He could barely look her in the eye. And then she cried, and so did he. But not together, they stayed to themselves. She said what he did was selfish, and that she gave up everything to be there. He said that he did too, and she said “apparently not everything.” Then he said she was sorry. She grieved really hard for him, and said she didn’t want to leave because she knew she would never talk to him again. He said he hopes that she forgives him eventually.
She left saying she needed to deal with this somehow, and they touched hands….and I totally believed it. These moments are the few rare moments that make the show real. And it was very, very real. It was that obvious. Even after they parted they both continued to cry, and I was touched by how much they truly cared for one another. Maybe coming to Tahiti, to tell her in person was the right thing to do. I might even respect Frank a little bit now, just for coming clean (before they ended up together, which would have been to late).
Ali told Chris Harrison, as she cried along the shoreline, that part of her wanted to go back to Frank and make him stay, but she felt weak. He told her to not let Frank make her feel small. Harrison suggested that she got back to her room and relax for a while. But instead she cried on the beach as Frank left on a boat, and they were both still crying. He could be back on the next episode, and I would not doubt it one bit.
The next day Chris Harrison and Ali set down together. She said she really thought Frank was right for her, and he is totally not, so she is scared to find that she doesn’t know what she wants. He understood. She said she realizes that he was not the one for her, and that she would not take him back now.
She said she had high hopes that her husband was still here. Harrison said he thought it was important to go on to the rose ceremony. She said it was important that they accepted the roses, and that they be in love with only her.
The rose ceremony finished things off, on Le Taha’s island in Tahiti. That leaves Roberto and Chris, and only one can end up with Ali. So, who do you think is Ali’s perfect match? Only one more episode remains until we find out who ends up with Ali. I like them both, and it is too close to call. I hope she ends up getting married to one of them, and on nation-wide television. It would be amazing….
Stay tuned for next week’s notes on The Bachelorette, to find out what happens. Chris and Roberto get the chance to meet Ali’s family and shocking results will also be revealed when all the guys return for the reunion. You don’t want to miss this! That leaves just two weeks until they find out who will stand by Ali’s side.
