A Review of Quaker Quakes Ranch Rice Snacks: 70 Calories Per Serving

by itchyfish

I love many Quaker brand food products and snacks. Recently, I came across a bag of Quaker Quakes Ranch Rice Snacks in my local grocery store. I decided to purchase them, try them and write an unbiased product review all about my personal experience with them. Here is what I discovered!

I purchased a very large bag of Quaker Quakes Ranch Rice Snacks for between three and four dollars. This bag had eleven servings in it and that is a good snack deal for a well known, high quality name brand snack from Quaker. Many of my friends and relatives love Quaker Quakes rice snacks and though I did not care too much for the cheddar cheese version of this snack, due to the fact it had a blue cheese taste to it and I do not like blue cheese, I decided to try the ranch flavor. I love ranch flavored snacks and this one has only 70 calories per serving. I liked that fact. It is also cholesterol free. Fantastic! I could not wait to try these!

Quaker Quakes Ranch Rice Snacks have a lot of good things going for them. They are baked, crunchy, crispy, have very little sodium or fat and they even have some fiber in them. When I tasted these crunchy delights, I loved them. They are crispy and light, yet hearty and filling. That is unusual for a rice type of snack, in my opinion. They also have a delicious and bold ranch flavor. Buttermilk, tomato powder, onion powder, garlic powder and cheddar cheese are also in this snack. Wow! No wonder they are so flavorful. These are tasty and it is impossible to eat just one, that is for sure. If you are a ranch flavored snack lover, you will most likely like this snack.

I love the crunch and crispiness of these rice snacks. They are many of my friends and relatives favorite rice snack. I understand why. I rate Quaker Quakes Ranch Rice Snacks five stars out of five stars. They are perfect. No dip required, these snacks have enough flavor to win over anyone liking ranch flavored foods. I will be buying them again. Quaker Quakes rice snacks are also available in flavors like chocolate, caramel corn, BBQ, nacho cheese, sour cream & onion and apple cinnamon, just to name a few. They are cleverly shaped in a round form that resembles mini rice cakes. Very cute to look at. And to serve! They are a great size, for a snack, I think. Big enough to be just right for one bite.

One nine mini rice cake serving has 70 calories and only 25 of those calories are from fat. One serving has 2.5 grams of total fat, 0 grams of saturated fat, 0 mg’s of cholesterol, 200 mg’s of sodium, 10 grams of total carbs, 1 gram of dietary fiber, 1 gram of sugars and 1 gram of protein. These mini rice cake type snacks do contain milk and soy ingredients.

I enjoyed trying Quaker Quakes Ranch Rice Snacks and writing a product review about them. They are fun to eat and I enjoy serving these at parties, gatherings or just while relaxing at home.
