I love finding snack deals and I do love corn chips. When I came across a bag of Harvest Snacks Corn Chips in the chips section of my local Dollar Tree store, I was thrilled. I decided to purchase them, try them out and write an unbiased product review all about my personal experience. Here is what I discovered!
Harvest Snacks Corn Chips cost only one dollar. Now, that is a very good snack deal and an excellent food bargain, in my opinion. One bag has around ten servings in it. That is fabulous! I have tried other Harvest Snacks and I really like most of them. They save me money and are usually high in quality and in taste. I could not wait to try these!
One thing that I noticed about the packaging of these corn chips is that, well, it is not the best. The bag is a bit fragile and I really had to be careful not to tear it. I usually twist the top of a chip bag and wrap a twist tie around it. I did tear some of the top off of this bag while re closing it. Do be aware of that fact. If you have a chip container, I recommend pouring these corn chips into it. Just to keep them their freshest. Harvest Snacks Corn Chips have no artificial colors or flavors in them. That is spectacular and for just one dollar, quite amazing, to me.
When I tasted Harvest Snacks Corn Chips, I loved them. Let me tell you, these corn chips are truly different from other brands. They are very thick, hearty and crunchy. Let’s put it this way, hang onto your dentures while eating these, if you have them. These corn chips pack a mean crunch. I liked that about them. They stand up to dip and salsa fabulously. These corn chips are dubbed “Dipp’n chips” and I totally agree. They are large and perfect for dips, salsa, chili, whatever you want to dip them into, they are more than ready.
I noticed that these corn chips do have a really raw and natural corn taste to them. It is quite special and I appreciated it. These are delicious. I tried these with salsa, with chili cheese bean dip, with onion dip, with ranch dip and they performed well. At one dollar a bag, I can serve a lot of guests for the money with these. I rate Harvest Snacks Corn Chips four stars out of five stars. No, they are not Fritos but, they will more than hold their own in a dip bowl. I will be buying these again.
One thirty-two chip serving has 160 calories. 90 of those calories come from fat. One serving has 10 grams of total fat, 1 gram of saturated fat, 1.5 grams of trans fat, 2.5 grams of polyunsaturated fat, 4.5 grams of monounsaturated fat, 0 mg’s of cholesterol, hey, wow, 110 mg’s of sodium, not bad, 15 grams of total carbs, less than 1 gram of dietary fiber, 0 grams of sugars and 2 grams of protein.
I enjoyed trying Harvest Snacks Corn Chips and writing a product review all about them. They are tasty, fun to eat, great in dip and very affordable. Harvest Snacks also have a wide variety of chips available, like tortilla chips, cheese puffs, ranch flavored chips and much more. I sure did like the dipp’n chips corn chips. This snack is a budget friendly winner!
