Patriotic Pops! At the Eisemann Center ~ Richardson, TX
If you love patriotic music, you’re in for a big treat this 4th of July. Patriotic Pops will be performing at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, TX, Sunday, July 4 at 3:00pm. The Plano Symphony Orchestra and the Patriotic Pops Chorus will inspire you with a rousing concert of patriotic favorites in a special salute to our country and those who are protecting our freedom. You can expect to hear your favorite patriotic music including the Star Spangled Banner, Star’s and Stripes Forever, music from the movie Saving Private Ryan, a special performance by the vigilantes Drum and Bugle Corps, and much more.

Family Fourth Celebration at Breckinridge Park ~ Richardson, TX
The annual Family Fourth Celebration at Breckinridge Park, Sunday, July 4th, is a tremendous value for the entire family. The Family Fourth Celebration sponsored by the City of Richardson is free and open to the community. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, picnic dinner, and enjoy family- friendly evening with your loved ones.
The focus of this year’s celebration is recycling. Help the City of Richardson this 4th of
July by recycling all your cans and bottles in the designated containers located throughout the park.
There are plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Attractions include strolling balloon artists, inflatables, and a climbing wall. The Star Spangled safety event will have tons of information about fire safety, crime prevention, and emergency preparedness all designed to teach your children how to stay safe. They will even have a fire truck slide and a police bounce house for your little ones to enjoy.
Food vendors will be on-site if you don’t have time to pack a picnic dinner. Feast on hungry Howie’s Pizza, Bovine Dreams Ice Cream, great Mexican food from Ala Carte Catering, and Ronoco snow cones.
At 6:15pm, Day Job Refugees will be performing and at 8:45pm The Richardson Community Band performs its annual Patriotic Salute Concert! Parking is limited, but a shuttle will be provided beginning at 6pm from the Rockwell-Collins International Campus at the corner of Renner and Shiloh Roads.
