Peanuts contain allergens, where even in tiny amounts can cause sever reactions such as anaphylaxis. People who are severely allergic to peanuts can be so sensitive that just being around someone eating peanuts can cause a reaction.
There is no cure or products available to this allergy so people who are allergic to peanuts must avoid foods with peanuts and foods that were prepared near or have come in contact with peanut products.
